One of my favourite choccies is the other popular version of chocolate wafer. Breakaway is a lovely alternative, and Old Gold makes it even more special with its signature dark chocolate. With milk chocolate you feel the temptation to eat more, but this has the bitterness that gives you the satisfaction after a small piece.
One of the best types of chocolate that I tried. It's smooth and delicious
I used it to make sweets, it was the best test.

Delicious
I don’t normally go for this type of chocky, I purchased it for my fiancé and of course I made him share so I could taste it hahaha and to my surprise I actually really enjoyed it. It’s a delicious combo & for my tastebuds it is the perfect ratio of bickie to Chocky.
I would definitely buy again.

Nice and tasty
Taste between dark chocolate and wafer is something different for a change. I like the taste and it's not as sweet

Cadbury Old Gold Breakaway Dark Choc
Cadbury Old Gold Breakaway Dark Chocolate Block combines the rich, intense flavours of dark chocolate with the satisfying crunch of biscuit pieces. This delightful treat offers a perfect balance of velvety smooth chocolate and the crispiness of biscuits, creating a harmonious texture and taste experience.
The Old Gold range is known for its premium quality dark chocolate, and this product is no exception. It provides a more sophisticated and less sweet flavour profile compared to milk chocolate, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate the depth and complexity of dark chocolate.
This is a great tasting product, the flavours complement each other very well the chocolate it's self is extremely good not overly sweet and it has a great cocoa flavour. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Great taste
I love the Dark chocolate old gold range and I love breakaway. When I saw this I was so excited, and I was not wrong. It is so yummy that you can't put it down. Great flavours and satisfies cravings. Love it

My favourite Old Gold flavour
This is my new favourite chocolate block from Old Gold. I love the generous chunky finger size (larger than KitKat fingers), crispy wafer layers, topping of praline and all coated in a good thickness of dark chocolate. Entirely delicious and I now buy Old Gold Breakaway on repeat!
Very deliciously and creamy chocolate with a little bit of a crunch. Great to have as a treat after a long day

Tastes great for a dark chocolate
For dark chocolate, we are big fans of this product. the beauty of it is that you can snap off the pieces quite easily. It also helps me to not eat the whole packet in one sitting. The wafer biscuit gives it a good crunch, which is nice. For anyone that isn't really a big fan of dark chocolate, I would say to try this item as a first step into the dark chocolate world.

Chocolate breakaway
I really wanted to like this chocolate but I just found the wafers very dry and the chocolate wasn’t creamy at all. It could be less dry, less wafers
I prefer dark chocolate so this was great. Not too sweet and has more body than a Kit Kat. It is a bit messier when you break it into pieces. Overall, more satisfying to eat than other chocolate-coated wafer products.

Not my favorite suprisingly
I am both a dark chocolate fan and one who likes chocolate wafer. However, I found this chocolate bar a bit strange (although definitely better than the milk chocolate breakaway bar) in that the wafer tasted stale compared to the crunch of the hard dark chocolate. And the pieces are huge. Think I'll stick to standard chocolate OR breakaway biscuits, not a combination of both

Tasty
I tried this as I love old gold dark chocolate
Live the wager layers
Remind you of the good old Kit Kat but even better as it is covered in dark chocolate
Enjoyable smooth chocolate with crispy water biscuits
I did not review this as part of the product trial just something I enjoy
Firstly I couldn’t break this product in ‘clean’ breaks, in fact I found it difficult to break and it was quite messy. Apart from that loved the wafers within the decadent dark chocolate and thought it was a very enjoyable combination
