Hot and easy
I loved that F.Whitlock Killer beans were gluten free and were able to be enjoyed by the whole family. They packed the perfect amount of punch and were excellent in Con Carne. The price was excellent and so easy to find on the supermarket shelf.

OK for filler
We added these to chicken enchilada filling. I shouldn't eat them as I am allergic to one of the base ingredients, so my husband tried them and says they're OK but he would prefer to make his own chilli mix. If you're in a hurry they're good to help make the filling, not spicy at all to us.

Not much flavour
The flavour is less salty and it didn’t meet expectation. The beans are generally smaller and I don’t think I will buy in the future.

Not a bad medium bean
My son and myself tried these for lunch the other day. It was a nice mix of heat and taste. The wording on the can make you think the beans will be super hot (fuego) but in actual fact they were overall pretty mild with a slight after kick taste in mouth. I would consider using these in a Mexican styled dinner time. We like the mixed texture of beans sauce and tomatoes

You wouldn’t know these came from a can!
Every weekend we have baked beans on toast and this was a delicious twist! We would use these chili beans in chili con carne, spaghetti, on toast or in any dish that needs a bit of a kick. It’s a bit spicy for me without sour cream (but I have a low threshold for spicy food). If I gave this to guests without telling me then it was canned they wouldn’t have a clue. The beans are a good texture, not soggy, and the flavour around is super palatable - it doesn’t have a gluggy texture you get in canned beans sometimes.

Beans with a kick
Very easy to prepare and serve. This can was enough for 2 adults ( served with sliced bread). Taste very nice - had that kick in it and as we like hot food it was nice to eat. My negative- i don't know why but I like that packaging...looking at it i wasn't sure if its baked beans there or just beans with chilly to cook with.
