Mecca Cosmetica Renewing Cleansing Gel

A fantastic product, left my skin feeling fresh and smooth. The fragrance was subtle and the pump bottle was easy to use.

Great cleanser. It doesn't foam but effectively cleanses the skin without drying it out. Great stylish packaging. Comes in a large bottle and a little goes a long way. Very impressed with this and wouldn't hesitate to go and buy it again.

I LOVED this cleanser! It left my skin feeling super soft and “silky”, i cleansed twice, but with the second cleanse I would leave it on my face for about 2 minutes, it would foam up and then I would rinse and my face was left feeling like a baby’s bottom! This cleanser has a nice but subtle rose scent, definitely not too strong which is perfect for a facial cleanser. It caused no irritations (for me) and did not dry my skin out at all. I would 100% recommend this product!

My skin felt clean and smooth. I have noticed fewer blemishes however initially it was drying. Perhaps something your skin has to get used to. I have loved the natural scent as well

From opening I was impressed with this product. Nice clean neat packaging with no excess. The rose gold top to the box adds some luxury. Opening the bottle is easy and the pump action is smooth. I found one pump was enough for a clean face. It is a gel as described with a light fragrance and a pinkish colour. It smoothed over my face easily and cleaned well. My only negative is my skin felt slightly tight after using and was dry initially but seemed to improve with ongoing use. A great product overall.

I used the Mecca renewing cleansing gel for a few weeks now. It doesn’t fry your skin out & leaves it feeling refreshed. I tried the “2 minute exfoliation” as well but didn’t seem to get much of a result. I will defini Stick to a separate product for this. Overall I am happy and would purchase this.

beautiful floral scent that warmed on me, initially I thought it was a little strong. It creates a lovely micro lather, which thoroughly cleanses. It didn’t cause any breakouts, irritations, or dry. My face feels fresh and clean after using it.. will continue to use

While I tend to steer towards Mecca make up, this renewing cleansing gel was a surprise. The simple, elegant box and even more divine bottle was truly enticing. The soft blush colour and simple black font depicts a luxury brand. A touch of luxury that not only whisks away dirt and impurities but transports me away from my 40-something being into a more youthful, glowing, radiant me. I opened the bottle morning and night for 3 weeks. My favourite moment was always the delicate and fresh fragrance that greeted me. I used 2 pumps initially, always found that one pump was not enough. Towards the end of the 3 weeks, I began using 3 pumps. Gently massaging into the skin and washing didn't work as well as leaving it on for 1 minute. I really enjoyed when it began to foam on my skin. I then used a damp muslin/face cloth to remove for best results. I adored the fresh, deeply cleansed feeling. It is a product I would continue to buy and use.

Loved using this cleansing gel! Worked really well to cleanse my face, remove all makeup & helped clear up some breakouts. Only thing I didn’t like was the scent.

Great gentle every day cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soft, fresh and has a lovely mild scent. Great for morning and evening use and a welcome addition to my skincare routine, love it.

I love the packaging of the product, it was nice to look at and feel. I really liked the pump style as I use it in the shower everyday, it makes it easy to use and very functional for me. I also loved the idea of the product that it was a gel cleaner that would foam and could be left on as a mask, to me being time poor with kids made me very excited! However I have dry skin and I found this cleanser to be too strong and would strip my skin, and create dryer patches, specifically on my forehead. I ended up only being able to use it once a day in the end and now I have stopped, as my skin was getting too tight and required extra moisturiser. The smell of the product I really enjoyed and the ide of it is great!

I was excited to try the new Mecca Cleansing Gel as part of a trial by Home Tester Club, but unfortunately it didn't hit a home run for me I was out at first base. The fragrance of the cleanser was the first thing I didn't like as it reminded me of a cheap cleanser I bought many years ago that had a distinct synthetic smell to it, like it had just walked out of a chemical factory. The other downfall for me was after cleansing and rinsing I was left with what felt like a silicone residue on my skin and though it did wash away the daily dirt and makeup I felt the need to cleanse again with a different cleanser just to get rid of that leftover residue. On the upside my skin didn't have any bad reactions or breakouts whilst using the cleanser and though the prettiness of a package is neither here nor there for me what matters is it's environmental impact, it was a suprise to see that at least the bottle had been made from 50% PCR plastic.

The product has an attractive pink bottle. This cleanser is effective in getting oil off my face. I like the cold effect while applied on my face. It didn’t dry my skin.

My skin felt really rejuvenated after using this cleanser, it removed my light make up with ease, I’ve been recommending it to my friends as it’s so gentle yet effective.

What a great product! It can be very difficult to find a cleanser that is light-weight to use every day but also able to wash off make up, including waterproof mascara. The gel feels very natural and organic so it was quick and easy to apply and wash off. I used the product daily at night and felt that my skin felt smoother and more hydrating by the end of the trial period. I also used the product as a 1-2 minute mask which was great for weekends to provide some further hydration. This is a product that was very effective for me and considering my skin is a mix of dry/ oily this is not always the case with other products, and most are typically quite expensive. Overall, I loved it and would purchase in the future!
