I always use Nexgard Spectra with all of my dogs. The edible chew is actually edible unlike other brands. I have need seen a flea or tick on any of my dogs since using Nexgard Spectra and we like a high tick area.

Great product for some dogs
We live on a rural property in a paralysis tick area and I have four dogs - two small and two medium sized - so tick control is vital. I've tried Nexgard Spectra on all four. The two medium sized dogs had no problem for 2 or 3 years, then it started to make them ill with vomiting, diarrhea and general malaise.
Results on the two smaller dogs (Pom X Maltese) were bad from day one. They both vomited and were "off-colour" for several days after administration; which of necessity was down the throat as neither would eat their tablet voluntarily. They do very well on Interceptor Spectrum with Bravecto every 3 months for the ticks/fleas. I've now switched the others to this regime as well.
I also know of at least one other dog that developed seizures after taking NS.
I don't know if they've changed the formula, but my recommendation would be to pay close attention to your dogs' reaction for the first week after administration.
My dog loves these and gobbles the up which makes it so easy to protect him against all the nasties. Just once a month and then i don't have to worry about it anymore.
Next Guard Specta is the only product that we use to protect our Cavoodle and Spoodle. Loving on the south coast of Australia ticks are a particular concern for dogs. We find that this is the most cost effective and reliable product to keep our beautiful dogs safe. It’s great that they come in a small chew which is easy for our dogs to chew and avoids the tedious task of trying to help your dog to take a tablet. Compared to other brands Next Guard Spectra offers longer protection and against multiple parasites. A must have to keep your dogs safe.

must have for dogs
I get the medium version of this for my dachshund. He's been taking this regularly since he was a pup, has never had any negative effects and has never suffered from any ticks, fleas worms etc. I am confident that these are effective and doing the job. Quite economical as well in comparison to some other brands. My dog also doesn't mind taking these (some others we've tried he won't go near, even smothered in peanut butter and hidden in all his fave treats).
Great product that was highly recommended from our vet. Sometimes have to bribe our fussy dog to take it because he knows it's not a treat but we've never had any issues, works as expected.
We have been using Nexgard Spextra with our cavoodle for the majority of his 10 months so far. The chew smells like bacon and Donnie is happy to have it even without it being hidden in something. So safe to say it’s Donnie approved. He ate the chew before eating ham when we tried to hide it. Comes in a 3 pack as well.

Does what it needs to
i use the large dog one but it has protected my dog for as long as I have been using it, he has had a tick and the treatment and stay at the vets cost me over $1300 so though expensive it is worth it. My dog is fussy and not a fan of the taste, did i mention that he is fussy, but he does eat it when it is wrapped in bacon or ham. He is allowed to run free in bushland as well as parks so he is in high risk situations and yet I feel he is protected.
