We have this a lot in our household. It is so quick and easy to whip up during the week for a healthy and delicious meal. We like to serve it with brown rice and there is always enough for lunch the next day at work!

Quick and delicious
Great sauce to add after frying some chicken thighs, not spicy so my young kids ate big bowls of the butter chicken on rice. A must to keep in the pantry.
I love the flavour of this Butter Chicken sauce. The subtle spices are amazing, better than the spicier one. I also add some fried onion to it for that bit extra.
This sauce is great for a quick butter chicken at home just toss the sauce and chicken together with some rice, however it doesn't taste anything like the real deal for me: it's missing the distinct flavour of butter chicken from a takeaway shop. However it is good when in a pinch
Weak on strength of flavour and mainly tomato based tones, reminding me of a nicely spiced tomato soup- not like a butter chicken. Still an enjoyable dish.

Kids liked it
Not an authentic flavour but the whole family enjoyed this one. Not spicy and pretty easy to prepare. A great pantry staple for a simple meal
Loved by the whole family. My husband and I love it because its easy to make and because the kids will eat it. It's mild and even the fussy 7 year old will eat it. We always make Pappadams to go with it and I guess thats why the kids love it too. We cook this with thigh chicken rather than breast as we prefer thigh, it doesn't go as dry.

A great cheat meal
Ok so it's nothing like making it from scratch but if you're time poor and want a cheap option for an Indian meal, this is your best bet! I often read the ingredients label and try to add more of the same to increase the flavour as we like ours pretty intense. I would certainly recommend having a few of the jars in the pantry to throw in with chicken and rice for a quick, convenient, tasty meal.
If you are in a hurry OR just feeling lazy OR in the mood to relax but still satisfy your cravings, Patak's gravies are a definite saviour. Very quick and snappy to prepare quick meals.
My family loves a good butter chicken and Pataks cannot be faulted. The sauce is mild and gentle for my little ones as they usually pick up on any spice. It has a real authentic taste of India. Its so quick and easy to make by adding meat and even vegetables meaning making dinner less of a hassle.
I quite like this sauce. For a quick Indian curry at home it does the job quite nicely. The kids liked it as well - so that’s always a positive.
If paired with a garlic cheese naan then it’s actually a really nice meal.
