pb nutrition meal replacement shake

I tried the chocolate pb meal replacement shake. I found it way too thick, and was not a fan of the flavour yes it tasted like chocolate, but not good chocolate. It was filling but the flavour and aftertaste was very off putting.

Thank you HT for the trail. I tried this product in vanilla and its so versatile. I have typically used it to add nutrients to my morning smoothie. I add plant based milk, vanilla essence, oats and manuka honey. It's delicious! The texture of this powder is superb. I have tried many others in the past and the issue has always been a problem with taste and mixability. This powder mixes so well with plant based milk and you don't end up with clumps. The taste is great and isn't too over powering. for this reason, I enjoy an extra splash of vanilla essence. I had also used this products for pancakes. :) The products was filling and curbed my appetite until the next meal. I was also happy to see that the manufacturer was a trusted brand - Santitarium (the makers of weetix and up and go). They have developed a brilliant product and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to top up there nutrients with a plant based food product.

The chocolate flavour was really nice. Not overpowering. My favourite part was meal replacement shakes usually feel very heavy when you drink them, this shake feels very light and airy. Super easy and convenient to have on you, when you don’t have a chance to eat a meal. It kept me satisfied for ages. Really happy with this product.

I ordered the vanilla flavoured pb nutrition meal replacement shake and it arrived a few days before Ramadan (month of fasting from dawn to dusk). Previous shakes I’ve tried have been too sweet for my taste but I found pg nutrition to be just nice, not too sweet and pleasant tasting. The protein content from faba bean and pea together with oats and flaxseed also add the required ‘bulk’ making it a filling ‘oaty’ regular-tasting drink. I am not looking to lose weight so I cannot comment on weight-loss using this but after taking the shake as part of my pre-dawn meal during Ramadan, I found it kept me full and content as a meal replacement shake would. I am also pleased to find that it mixes well in chilled water too. Only thing is it comes in two flavours vanilla and chocolate per their website but I would be happy taking a good tasting vanilla or chocolate shake daily than have a variety of flavours that are too sweet or artificial tasting.

The taste was surprisingly pleasant. It did take a bit of shaking to fully dissolve. However, it was satisfying and filling

I had tested the vanilla flavour. I think the taste was ok has a funny aftertaste I found. I did not enjoy the taste that much but was bearable. The product was filling and did the job of feeling full.

I tried the Vanilla PB nutrition meal replacement shake. It was easy to prepare and because water is used, the shakes can be prepared anywhere. I found that the recommended 3 scoops of powder was slightly too thick for my taste, I found 2 and half scoops to be more enjoyable to drink. I found the shakes more filling than other brands and kept me full all afternoon when I drank one for lunch. I would purchase again.

I tried the chocolate powder. To be honest, i could not drink much of this, it had a bad consistency and tasted so bad. I could not stomach it.

I tried the vanilla flavour and actually really enjoyed the taste. It had a good texture and mouthfeel. It was just like drinking a smoothie and didn’t taste like a blended bowl of cereal, like I find most other meal replacement shakes.

I tried the vanilla which lacks the flavour, I feel like drinking an oatmeal shake. Even if I shake a lot, it is hard to dissolve and is still powdery when I drink. It can be filling or taste better if you blend it with banana.

I tried the Vanilla flavour PB Nutrition Meal Replacement Shake. The flavour was quite nice on it's own but I really enjoyed the shake with some frozen mango blended in. This shake didn't leave a bad after taste as I have found some other brands do. I like smaller portions (after stomach surgery) so used 1.5 scoops with 210mls of cold water and found this satisfying and filling. I like that the shake is high in protein as this is important after my surgery. I also like that the shake is plant based and developed by dietitians.

Instead of skipping breakfast or eating something not very nutritious because I just grab and go I have really taken a liking to this shake. In my shaker following the instructions I add cold water and the measured amount of the on nutrition powder, shake vigorously then enjoy. The chocolate flavour is delicious, it tastes chocolaty and nutty (without the nuts) and it fills me up, I don’t feel hungry until I have a piece of fruit late morning or lunch time. I haven’t weighed myself but after a couple of weeks just having this for breakfast my clothes have felt nicer on. My only complaint is that when I peeled the top of the pouch off the reusable seal doesn’t actually snap back together I have had to put the powder in a container. I would buy this again for the flavour and fulfilment and definitely recommend these shakes.

I have tried many meal replacement shakes over the years that have been less than desirable. So I did not have really high hopes for this shake. However, I was so pleasantly surprised! The shake was DELICIOUS! The texture was great, flavour was delicious and it filled me up from lunch time all day. I would not hesitate to purchase this shake again. Although I am only vegetarian and usually have milk, I do try to reduce my dairy intake, so I loved that this was plant based too.

I opted for the Vanilla PB Nutrition Meal Replacement Shake. The shake was easy to purchase via the website and it arrived quickly. It was simple to make (just add water), and both ingredients combined easily using my shaker. I was pleasantly surprised with the consistency, it wasn’t grainy or lumpy, and it actually tasted like vanilla! I’ve been using the shakes as a meal replacement for lunch during weekdays, as I am often short on time and just need some quick “fuel” for my body. Some days when I find that I’m extra hungry, I might start to feel like I need a piece of fruit or a coffee by about 3pm, but generally I can go until dinner with just having had the shake for lunch. I would definitely recommend. I will buy again.
