Practical and chic
are so incredibly happy to be given the opportunity to use the Russell Hobbs Distinction Ocean Blue kettle. It looks fantastic and the handle makes it easier to pour. It takes shorter time to boil at the maximum level and is very easy to clean as well. We have never had a quiet kettle before as the last one would wake the whole house. Now I'm able to enjoy a coffee early in the morning without the stress of noise or length to boil. No faults whatsoever could be found with the Russell Hobbs kettle. Overall a beautiful design and a fantastic kettle!

Quiet & stylish
This kettle was a pleasant surprise! Not only does it look stylish, but it is quick to boil, ergonocially pleasing to hold & pour, and has a lovely quiet boil! You can easily hold a conversation in the kitchen while it boils, and is barely audible from other parts of the house. Highly recommend!

Charming Kettle
The Russell Hobbs Kettle Distinctions kettle in the ocean blue is a great addition to the kitchen, it looks so appealing with its pop of colour and stainless steel. It’s also super quiet when boiling the water which is also a great win. The handle on the top makes for an easy pour. In addition with the toaster they are a super cute combo to liven up a dull kitchen.

Whisper quiet
I am completely obsessed with this kettle! Not only is it visually stunning and super quick to clean it is almost too quiet to run! I can make a cuppa in the morning without waking up the whole house. I didnt know a kettle could be so quiet to use. The base and kettle look lux and sturdy, the switch has an expensive feel when using it, its sturdy and makea a satisfying click once on, it isnt obnoxious or in your face just on with a comforting warm glowing light and clicks off just as quiet when boiled. I am very happy with this product

Love the kettle
This kettle has a great design second to none that is available on the market. It is unique in its design. I found that when it was on it was very quiet compared to other kettles that I have used in the past which are much noisier. And it pours so well compared to my previous one that always seem to kind of leak from the spout.

Beautiful and functional
The Russell Hobbs Distinctions range in Ocean Blue is a beautiful addition to any modern kitchen. The 1.5L kettle has a lovely mirror finish and is super simple to use, with great pour functionality. The toaster mixes a bit of retro feel with modern functions expected of a toaster. I really loved the timer function to keep impatient kids (and adults)a!) at bay. The large slots are perfect for any type of bread too!

Distinctions kettle
I was very disappointed with this kettle. It was bulky and unattractive. The handle was wide and cumbersome and it was difficult to completely empty the kettle. My elderly mother felt unsafe using it. The only positive point it that it is very quiet.

Good size pot, easy to use
The size of the pot was perfect for when I entertained several guests for morning tea, there was plenty of water to serve everyone. It was very quiet, quick to boil and I liked the fact that the water stayed hot for a long time. The long cord on the base was great as it meant that I didn’t need to have the kettle so close to a power point and it was easier to use. Having an ergonomic handle was also a lovely feature to have, especially for the older family members of the household who struggle with the traditional ones. Overall, it was an easy to use kettle which worked perfectly and I would recommend to others.

Bit of a clunker
The kettle is pretty quiet and fast so functionally I like it. But it's really wide so takes up more room than other kettles. the biggest drawback is the design of the lid under the handle - makes it quite awkward to remove and replace for filling. Lever also feels flimsy.

Stylish Kettle
Lovely stylish classic looking Kettle, love the Ocean Blue, and stainless steel look, just looks so inviting on my bench. I loved the way it felt to lift the lid and fill up, and just the way it felt to pour the water. It just made making a cup of tea or coffee feel special. It was easy to use, boiled the water quickly, the water tasted good as it should. I love the fold up cord underneath keeps cords tidy. I did have to caution my son about opening the lid to refill and waiting to it had cooled down, as it can be quiet hot and steamy. Overall it looks amazing on my kitchen bench, and adds some everyday beauty into my life. Thank you Home Tester Club for the opportunity to trial this product.

Russell Hobbs Distinctions KETTLE
The 1.5 litre Russell Hobbs Distinctions KETTLE in Ocean Blue is an elegant kettle that matches perfectly with my kitchen. The design is very modern with a touch of retro. It has a perfect pouring spout and an ergonomic handle for easy use. It has lighting on the power switch during boiling, so you know it is on operation. It is surprisingly low in noise, something I always look for in a kettle. It has rapid boil zone indicators that allow you to boil only the amount of water you need , besides the water window with litre markings allows you to see where you’re filling to. Lastly it has an Anti-scale filter, that can be removed for cleaning. Great addition too!

Beautiful looking kettle
The kettle is great! So pretty to look at and fits perfectly on the corner of my bench. The boiling sound is low which is awesome and I can see the water level on the clear and transparent measurement on the side as well. All in all, very happy with the kettle!
