Russell Hobbs Distinctions Toaster in Titanium

This is a good looking toaster! The brushed finish on the sides means it stays looking clean rather than covered with fingerprints. It appears to be quite solid, and well constructed, if a little bulky for a two slice toaster. It didn’t appear to like my low carb/high protein bread which can take a little while to grown, and needed the darkest setting in order to get some colour. I’ve also been spoilt recently by a toaster that has individual settings for different types of bread. This one feels very basic in comparison. I liked the digital progress display. It’s simple, effective and well designed. In all a good basic toaster

I found the toaster really easy to use toaster with no complicated buttons. I really like the countdown light. Setting 4 is my favourite, it cooks my toast perfectly! I would definitely recommend this toaster to others.

I recently tested the Distinctions 2 Slice Toaster in Titanium and I am extremely satisfied with it. This toaster has exceeded my expectations in terms of its sleek design and functionality. It perfectly toasts the bread from both sides. The "defrost" setting works great for frozen bread and the "reheat" setting is perfect for warming up toast that has cooled down. Love the Titanium design, adds a sophisticated style to my kitchen. The toaster slots are quite big, which allows for me to cut bread to my preferred size to toast. The browning feature shows you what setting it's currently on is fantastic, a user friendly feature to prevent accidental burning of toast. This feature is located at the front of the toaster. The LED feature, also at the front of toaster, counts you down to done and is super cute. The whole family love it, bringing excitement to the children when making their own toast.

I was thrilled to receive the latest Russel Hobbs toaster. It looked so sleek and stylish. The led countdown dial added to the overall wow factor. I loved the polished steel look and my kitchen looks so stylish now.

Beautiful product and looks really good on my kitchen bench top. Slots are bigger so extra large slices can fit. Quick to toast and gives golden crunchy bread every time. My old toaster (a good brand as well) pop the bread up so hard sometimes it goes and lands on the counter top, Russell Hobbs toaster doesn’t pop out the bread, rather smoothly pop up. Reheat and frozen buttons are handy to have and timer gives an idea of when the toast would be ready. Love it!!

From the moment of unboxing I was pleasantly surprised by Russell Hobbs sleek design of its titanium toaster. It’s definitely not your average boring toaster that’s for sure. It compliments my kitchen perfectly paired with the the matching titanium kettle I have the perfect pair. I cannot fault it’s desig and functionality in any way

I thoroughly enjoyed testing this product. Our family had been wanting a new toaster for a while and this one didn't disappoint. Firstly I loved the size of the slots as this allowed for thicker slices of bread and I feel a more even heat distribution. I also liked the light timer countdown giving you an indication of how much longer was left. The reheat function was excellent, as it did exactly that. Reheated without toasting much more which I have found other toasters I have owned have done that. All in all, this toaster met expectations and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new toaster.

This toaster was ok. It takes a while to work out the time to evenly toast. I found I had to put the toast down a few times to get the desired toasting. Then I would end up burning the toast. I also noticed that one side of the bread doesn’t toast as much as the other side. I like the idea of the timer light on the knob so you know how long the toast has left. I also like the warming feature but I didn’t really use that function much. I prefer a 4 slice toaster as I have a family of 4 and at times I will need to toast a few slices at one time. So the two slice toaster is not really convenient for me. The toaster did come with a matching kettle so it does make a nice pair and they both sit nicely displayed on my bench.

Nice looking toaster with long toast slots which are great for sourdough or artisan bread. I did need to use the highest setting for my toast but it was super fresh bread. Reheat function was good as didn't overcrisp.

This toaster is so quick and easy to use. Looks really classy and doesn't burn the most but warms it evenly. Highly recommend! Looks and works amazing.

My first impression was … ohh shiny but it was quickly followed by oh !! It’s only a 2 slice toaster. I would never buy a 2 slice. Secondly its chunky. I have a 4 slice toaster that is slightly longer but much slimmer. If you are tight on space or a smaller kitchen, this toaster is not particularly space friendly. I was impressed by the light up dial in the middle. The options of normal or frozen bread were a nice touch, but upon using, it didn’t really seem to make much difference to the toasting function. What I really didn’t like was the setting button. To look in the little circle to see what number I had turned the dial to is not user friendly. I had to grab my glasses every time, just to make sure I had the right setting. As to the actual toasting this was the biggest let down, it literally toasted half the slice. I had to turn it and put it in again to get full coverage, regardless of the setting.

I recieved this toaster from home tester and Russell Hobbs in exchange for my honest review. I loved the light up Led that let's you know how far away the toast is from being done. You can easily adjust your dial to get the desired brownness. Reheat and defrost your bread. Cancel your toast and have a look at how it's going. I lever is nice and big and flat to turn toaster on and slots are very wide. I would buy this and I love that it matches the kettle... makes for a sophisticated kitchen.

The Russell Hobbs Distinctions toaster is so very clever! We have used it for a variety of breads, and crumpets, and have had perfect toasting everytime. We found the 3 setting worked perfectly for all of our needs. We also love the functionality and modern design of this toaster. It comes with a big tick of approval from the 2.5 year old who can watch herself in it and look at the flashing light while waiting for her breakfast!
