Castello Soft White Cheese With Truffle

My favourite by this brand. I always buy it when it’s on offer. Great quality Brie with a lovely truffle taste. The truffle taste gets stronger if you leave it for a bit (a week or so) and the Brie gooier (if you can wait). Not for those who don’t get truffle. A friends partner chucked hers out as he thought it had gone bad (she had just bought it) I think it even happened a second time before she had a strong word with him. Im currently pregnant so can’t eat rind cheese like this but will be stocking up on this exact cheese ready for the moment I’ve given birth.

This cheese has a delicious truffle flavour that really comes through. It is wonderful for truffle lovers. It is far better if it is left out of the fridge for a day (or at least several hours) before eating so that it becomes soft and the full flavour can be appreciated.

I love this cheese. I tried it at a cheese and wine pairing. It is delicious and rich. Perfect amount of truffle and tastes like you are being naughty eating it lol. The only down side is the price but as a wee treat every now and then it is worth it.

I loooove this cheese! It doesn't smell the best... but it is cheese after all!! So delicious and creamy and always a HUGE hit on a cheese board with friends. The little bits of Truffle are to die for! I could eat this every day... if I could afford to! Its quite a bit more expensive than other cheeses but actually SO VERY WORTH IT!!
