Give me any Dean Koontz, or Steven King book & I'm in cloud 9. The whole soppy romance thing, doesn't quite do it for me. So yes, basically any type of thriller, or even Crime mysteries, and things like Twilight.

I am totally into escapism with the help of movies and books. I have a long list of authors which I go through. I prefer English & Irish authors as they seem more down to earth than American authors but this could just be a long phase I'm going through. I have to belong to a library because I cannot afford my 'addiction', even 2nd hand book shops are quite pricey. Does everybody else do the library thing or do you buy your books?

I am a Jodi Picoult fan and have most of her books. But I also LOVE cime/murder/mystery books as well as anything by Marian Keyes. I must admit I am a bit of a "fluffy" reader and use it to escape normal life stresses.
