It gave my hair a deep cleansing

I wanted a deep cleansing shampoo and went for this one. I really enjoyed it and felt it worked. It left my hair clean and fluffy, smelled really nice and didn't need much to leather up. I would buy it again

really nice

this is a really nice shampoo and i used it not expecting much but was really surprised that it worked it got rid of all the rubbish in my hair and it felt lighter and more clean great product

Ogx purifying charcoal detox shampoo

I decided to purchase this, but I am very disappointed it’s just an ordinary everyday shampoo. There is no nice scent to it not even the coconut, the day after my hair was really greasy and my scalp was very itchy. My hair was clean but wasn’t squeaky clean like my other shampoo, but that one is expensive and I was trying to find an alternative, but I will stay with that one now. This is definitely not for greasy hair, but okay for just a daily shampoo, but I won’t purchase it again.

I was expecting it to be better.

My hair felt heavy after using this, it was very creamy and lathered quickly, I just felt it was not for me.

Strong Shampoo

I have suffered from greasy patches in my hair for some months, so decided to try this OGX charcoal shampoo. Unfortunately for me it dried my hair out too much, but it certainly got my hair squeaky clean and did help with the greasy patches, just too strong for the other parts of my normal hair

love OGX

I regularly buy OGX shampoos for the whole family from Boots. I take advantage when they have 3 for 2 offers on them. The Charcoal one is great to clean hair and give it a good conditioned feel. As with the whole OGX range , the shampoos are very gentle and great value for money.

Refreshes My Hair

I noticed my hair started to feel like it had built up and water wasn’t fully cleansing it. I tried this and it was a miracle use, I used it for every wash for the first week and it took my hair back to nornal! It felt clean, good quality. For once you realy do notice a difference shampoo can make. The smell is really nice too. I’d recommended them using the shampoo maybe one a week to just keep on top and keep your hair clean.

Charcoal detox shampoo

Really enjoyed this product as first and found that it stripped away any excess oil and made my hair feel clean.However I do feel it can overly strip your hair over time so maybe not good for every wash. Probably best to alternate with another shampoo.

Too harsh for my scalp

This type of shampoo did cleanse my oily hair but it was too harsh for scalp. It felt like it was stripping away all the oils and making it more oily than before. I had some fall out of hair so this is not for me.

Not my favourite OGX product

I generally love OGX products but this one didn't work for me. It seemed quite harsh on my scalp and wasn't a great smell. It's not one I'd purchase again (but if you've found the same I'd say don't let this product put you off OGX in general because they usually hit the mark).

my favourite

i have wild frizzy tight curls and this is definitely my favourite shampoo lathers well, my hair always feels smooth after and have found my hair seems to be easier to manage have had less hair fall, it smells really nice also

Ogx purifying charcoal detox shampoo

I was excited to try this but was disappointed. It left my hair really dry and it looked very ‘bushy’ too. I had to wash it again the next day with my usual shampoo and conditioner. The price seems reasonable, the smell is nice enough but it just didn’t make the texture of my hair nice at all.

Don't recommend

I love other OGX products, in particular the Biotin and Collagen shampoo & conditioner. I bought this product to get rid of build up however it didn't do the job and left my hair extremely knotted and tatty. I didn't realise it was this product that was doing this but my hairdresser found that this was the culprit. Ever since I have stopped using this my hair is smooth as usual. Avoid this.
