OXO Good Grips Chopper

Handy little gadget, very easy to use and easy to clean. Small and compact and ideal to store .saves on time during food preparation.All round excellent piece of kitchen equipment.

Found it very easy to use. chopped lots of different vegetables salads and fruit. Good size handle to push down on. Good for people who have trouble chopping with knives. Very easy to clean, and store.

This is such a useful kitchen gadget and since I was lucky enough to receive as a freebie I’ve been using it practically every day. It makes light work of chopping vegetables and I’ve used it to chop nuts for cakes. Really like that the large catcher cup has convenient measurement markings. Very easy to take apart for cleaning. I have put in dishwasher and it’s come out sparkling clean. I’m recommending it to all my friends and family.

Simple to use manual chopper that works really well with nuts. Also makes light work of chopping onions,. Easy to clean.

This is a great way to chop small amounts and also an amazing item for people that have difficulty chopping with a knife. It's easy cleaning as it all comes to pieces for easy rinsing.

Interesting tool - robust looking and Totally dishwasrer Safe !!! But chopping guard/ sleeve is weak - mine broke on the first use - ;-( but it still works... I'd avoid chopping nuts as thats what broke mine... but on other chops - great and efficient!

This is a useful piece of kit for dicing up onions and other vegetables. Much quicker than doing it manually. It sometimes struggles to dice everything such as the outer layers of an onion but I can live with that. Folds up small for easy storage and can go in the dishwasher which is always welcomed.

Whilst I can say I liked the end result when chopping onions the process is a bit of a long-winded affair to get the same results I do with the traditional knife method. Starting with assembly of the chopper the capacity marked clear sleeve, for want of a better term, does not have a very positive latching action onto the main body and I found it came loose during the vigorous handle action required to chop an onion, which coincidently had to be pre-cut into sections to allow the blade to work and even then it required significant force up and down on the handle. The chopper strips down into manageable sections to allow full cleaning after use but unless you are catering on a semi commercial scale I would stick to using a knife as it is much quicker and less bother.

To be able to use the chopper, you need to cut the vegetables to size to be able to fit them in the chopper. Too big and the chopper jams. I wouldn't say that it chops the vegetables evenly but I wouldn't use it in a situation where that's necessary - more for something like chilli or bolognese where the veg isn't so visible. I don't think it saves time but it makes the task quite mindless if that's your preference and my arms got quite sore after processing a carrot, courgette & a red pepper.

I have been very impressed with the ease of use of this product. It’s simple to use and easy to clean. I love that I can use it to finally chop vegetables for my children’s food.

This is a great product that makes meal prep so much easier. Rather than spending ages chopping onions or peppers or carrots into small pieces, you can just put them in here and they are the perfect size in half the time. Would be great if you are trying to chop up vegetables small enough to hide in sauces or just to make the perfect sofrito.

I was really excited to test this especially because chopping onion is a massive issue for me. I cry like a baby! I had very high hopes for this but unfortunately I would rather take a knife and chop it myself. This chopper is way too small. You can’t really put a whole onion inside so you have to pre-chop it which seems completely missing the point. I had to use a lot of force to actually chop it and the onion at the bottom of it still wasn’t chopped. Just feels like unnecessary additional step in the cooking process. I had to play with this onion more like this than if I was actually chopping it with a knife. Is easy to store as is small and also easy to wash but beside that is a gadget and not really a useful tool. Shame as had high hopes for this.

This is a great little kitchen gadget and makes chopping onions super easy for me. Its easy to use and set up. I love how you can chop very finely with this without the mess. I highly recommend this, its time saving and easy to clean
