Tefal Snack Time

I loved the tefal snack time! We had toasties for lunch made waffles with the kids and ive bought extra plates and made bagels omelette and pizza wraps. I would still like to add more plates to our collection! Im a happy tefal-er!

I enjoyed using the tefal snack time. The changeable plates made it a dream to clean, rather than dragging the appliance to near the sink to wipe down you pop out the plates and wash as you would like any other pan or dinnerware. The heating up of the appliance was the same amount of time as any other sandwich maker. I have owned previous sandwich makers but not a waffle maker but always wanted to try and make them however, as it is 2-in-1 it saves on a lot of space rather than having two separate appliances perfect for the kids!

Tefal has always been a good company and reputable company to buy from so I had high expectations for this product and so far it has not dissappointed me. The ability to change plates it game changeing, I can now use the same device to make all sorts of snacks which works wonders in a tiny kitchen like mine. Its been easy clean and maintain. Plus the replacable plates means that if I damage anything I don't have to throw the entire device away. The addon plates aren't too expensive considering that they are just gonna keep adding more functionality to this amazing device and are a purchase I am more than willing to make. My only problem is that I'm quite ure how long these plates are going to last. I probably need to handle with a bit more care. Pro tip: Use a plastic scrubber to wash the plates, DO NOT USE METAL SCRUBBERS as they will scratch and spoil the plates. Overall I#m very happy with this device and I will definately be using this for a long time coming.

I have used toastie machines for a while and always have been going for a basic ones. I was excited to try something new, especially knowing it's a Tefal product, as I've got a few of their products already. I love Tefal Snack Time for it's flexibility, the fact you can make toasties and waffles in one product is excellent. I have noticed there are other attachments available, so I will be purchasing some of them to expand the usage of my device. I like how easy it is too clean too.

It's great! I love that you can change the plates for different foods. I just wish it had a timer that would let you know when your food is ready

Good points - 1.sandwich maker is fast and sandwiches are crusty 2.removable plates are easy to clean 3.not sticky food on plates Bad points - 1.there is not attached any waffle recipes 2. Not meassuring bowl for banking waffles, dough was everywhere around and very hard to clean outside of plates 3. Not temperature regulator buton or timer

Its amazing weve made waffles and toasted sandwiches mainly waffles there delicious cant wait to buy more plates for it.

A great product that is easy to use and clean. I do wish there were more plates provided to try different types of foods. The ‘toastie’ one was hardly used as we don’t traditional sliced loaf. We would have much preferred it it was a panini one of flat plate. Also looking for the plates were not easy on the site as we couldn’t find the compatible product even though the manual said they were available.

I have had this kind of product before but not one which you could switch between toasties and waffles so I was really pleased with that. We first used it for a sandwich toaster and it was as good as any we have had before, everything stayed inside the sandwich nice neatly and it was simple to use and very easy to clean afterwards. The waffles we had not done before so followed the instructions to the letter and were very happy with the results. They made them extremely easily and they didn't stick to the plates or get broken up when removing. Again it was very easy to clean. All in all a great product and very handy to combine 2 awesome snacking ideas into one, loved it.

Have used toastie machines in the past but really like this one. Enough room for standard slices of bread. Doesn’t spill down the sides. Leaves a nice pattern in the top of the toastie. I like how crispy it comes out. First time I have ever used a waffle maker. Took some perfecting for my recipe but once I got the right consistency they were cooked to perfection

Tefal Snack Time has changeable inserts. One for waffles and the other for sandwiches. It is brilliant idea to have one product with different inserts. It is saving so much room in the cupboard. You can also wash inserts in a dishwasher which helps you keep it clean. My only concern is the size of sandwich inserts as there definitely too small for regular bread so the edges are not as crispy as I like.

After 2 weeks of using Tefal Snack Time I can say I am super happy with this small appliance. The main reasons why I love it are: 1. It heats up very quickly and the green indicator tells you it's ready to be used. 2. Sandwiches and waffles are done very fast. 3. Sandwiches are perfectly sealed and crispy. 4. It makes the best waffles I have ever eaten. 5. It's so easy to clean. You just remove the plates and put them into the dishwasher. Life has never been easier. 6. It's a space saver. It's compact and you can have couple of machines in one. I hope to get more different plates in the future. I haven't found any disadvantages of using this product. Preparing sandwiches for breakfast or lunch is so easy now. We use this machine at least 4-5 times a week. As my partner loves sweets and cakes I can easily replace them for him with the home made waffles with the whipping cream, fresh fruits or marshmallows. He is delighted.

An absolutely amazing product. Never ate toasts that well so well prepared. It is easy and convenient to use, and very big (so big sandwiches fit!)

The Tefal Snack Time is a great product. I really loved the fact that it has interchangeable plates and there are a multitude of additional plates to purchase to turn this into a very multifunctional product. I also loved that the plates could be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. It's a nice size to fit into the kitchen and is very simple to use. Highly recommend over a standard sandwich toaster.

Heats up very fast, which is important when you have your hungry family waiting for breakfast. Toasties come out amazing, very tasty, and crunchy. In my experience the toaster takes around five minutes to heat up to the correct temperature (when a light comes on) so I just make sure that I turn it on before I start to prepare the sandwich. Hovis medium white slice fits perfectly and makes good toasted sandwiches and very easy to clean, unlike my old sandwich maker. The only thing I would say is try not to overfill - as other reviewers have mentioned, if you do you will get waffle batter everywhere and/or the contents of your toasted sandwiches will spill out! All that said, it toasts well and evenly, It does what it's supposed to.
