The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% & Zinc 1%

4.6 5 0 709 709 Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. Contraindications: If topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid and/or Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid) is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM). Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect integrity of the Vitamin C.

Not the best
Used this product for a long time after I had ran out of a similar serum. I tried many times to work with this serum but it kept on peeling whenever I’d put my moisturiser on. It may be just me but I haven’t resolved this issue yet.

Too thick, crystallises in bottle
I am a fan and regular user of The Ordinary products and wish I could like this serum. I have purchased it twice as I first though the hard crystals in the formula was a faulty bottle, but after repurchasing I realised that it’s just too thick and doesn’t last long enough before reacting inside of the bottle. I have found other niacinamide and zinc serums to not have this problem.

This works, just stay consistent!
This actually works but it’s important to stay consistent and use this for at least a few months (minimum of 5 days a week). I use this before bed as part of my nighttime skincare routine, and I use a moisturiser on top. It absorbs very well and does not irritate my skin (I avoid the under eye area). I have noticed a significant difference in my skin since using this, it has faded marks and gives a nice glow too. The best thing is the price, very affordable for the amount you get, it lasts ages!

Great with other cosmetics
spreads easily, does not make the skin greasy and blends with it immediately after application. It combines well with other cosmetics and works well under makeup, it does not reduce its durability and does not cause runoff. It smoothes the skin well and brightens it nicely. It didn't cause any irritation to me.

Great for hyperpigmentation and post-acne pigmentation
It is a great serum and works very well for reducing pigmentation in skin. I used it when i was suffering with acne and the post-acne marks used to disappear within 1 or 2 weeks. So it is very good for that.

Excellent, a desert island product for me
I've been using this for just over a year as my skin is changing due to perimenopause. I had tried everything else to treat the spots I was getting, but nothing worked. After researching online, I discovered this and now I wouldn't be without it. I Get hardly any spots now, and when they do pop up, they're not around as long as they would have been without it. 2 to 3 drops are all that is needed. Great product and price.

Brought my skin out in spots
Got this in a set at Christmas was excited to try but after using for a couple of weeks my skin was sore and covered in spots. Once I stopped using the spots went away.

A brilliant skincare product
I have been using this serum for a while now along with a few other products from the Ordinary and I absolutely love it. I use it morning and evening and have definitely noticed an improvement in the appearance of texture on my skin so would certainly recommend it. It is also very affordable which is even better.

A skin care staple
I love this serum! Perfect for oily skin like mine as it matyifies it, perfect base under moisturiser and since using it my skin looks dewy and radiant but not oily

Smoothing skin
I’ve been using this product for about a month now and it’s been brilliant! It’s helping to shrink my pores and smooth my skin. It’s also a really soothing consistency. I would reccommend.

The ordinary Niacinamide+ Zinc
This is the best serum for oily skin. I've used it for 2 years and it has helped me a lot. My skin looks healthier now. Very easy to apply too.

I love the ordinary products they are so cost effective and are brilliant very gentle on the skin and last for ages. the bottle top is squeeze so you can add as much as you need
