Terrible way to stop a door

While not very difficult to install, the mechanics of a having a door stop attached to the hinge are pretty lousy, even for low traffic residential environments. It puts a lot of stress on the door - wall or ceiling door stops are more effective and less likely to damage the door. This product really shouldn’t exist.

Easy install and works great!

This door stopper works exactly like it should! Took less than 5 minutes to install and keeps my door from hitting the wall when it's opened. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member.

Doorstop

I gave it a 3 instead of a 5 because you have to have a 3.2 mm pin and that is not included. Ours is unfortunately bigger so this hinge pin door stop would not work. You have to go buy the pin separately, so in the future I need to shop for one. It's a great door stop and wish they would have included the pin you need.

Quality product

This is a great quality product - works better than what we already have. It’s firm and doesn’t bounce as much, which is great. It also looks sharp! Overall, we’d buy when we need one!

excellent hinge!

I received a free Hinge Pin Mounted Doorstop Brass Plated in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, I planned on my husband installing this hinge since he is Mr Handy. Unfortunately, he was unavailable when I received the hinge in the mail and after looking at the installation directions, I decided to give it a try myself. SUPER EASY to install, great quality hinge and looks nice too! So proud of myself for doing this simple install and very pleased with the results!

Works!

Not sure I installed it correctly (might be upside down?) but works well and was definitely needed. I live in New Orleans in an old house so doors aren't balanced- this keeps my bedroom door from swinging back and damaging the wall behind it. Would recommend- it's a nifty little thing hidden behind the door and out of sight. Took just a minute to install.

Works great

This was so easy to install and keeps the door from slamming into the wall I really love it. I highly recommend it. It looks good too I like the colors.

Does it’s job

Good door stopper does what it needs to do but wish it came in different color. I have black door hinges and the gold is an eye sore. But other than looks product functions well.
