Neutrogena - Healthy Definition Mascara (carbon black)

Loved this mascara once I got the hang of the dual-sided brush. Zero clumping, flaking or smudging throughout the day (I typically wore it for about 14 hours). I've got sensitive eyes and wear contacts and it didn't irritate them at all. It was also really easy to take off with makeup wipes or Target brand eye makeup remover, with no residue left over.

The mascara is really good. It is thin and doesn't get clumpy and nasty with multiple coats. It washes off really easily and doesn't leave flakes behind on your cheeks either. The brush is the best part. It was really easy to see the difference in bristle lengths and they worked wonders. They separated and made my lashes look long and dark.

This mascara is perfect for everyday wear! It effortlessly glides on and comes off cleanly, even with just micellar water, eliminating the need for oil or balm-based removers. I especially appreciate the dual-sided brush, which allows for precise application and control over the amount of product. It's also great for reaching those lower lashes. While it may not deliver a dramatic faux-lash effect, it does an excellent job of defining and separating lashes, leaving them looking beautifully enhanced.

I'm always excited to try new mascaras, and the concept of this one's brush was innovative, but it didn't fan out my lashes very well. It just kept adding on to the coating and clumping my lashes together. My second attempt at using the product was a slightly better experience, but I think the design needs tweaked to spread the lashes more.

I received this Mascara for free from home tester club for free for my honest review. It does the job but not sure I would grab this one again. It does stay in play but didn't separate or extend my lashes like some other brands. Would be interested is checking out more make up from the line though.

I love how easy it is to remove this mascara. I use micellar water and I can get this off so easy and I feel like it is so much easier on my lashes. The mascara is light but yet adds a really nice length to my lashes without making them clumpy.

I'm very impressed! What I love most about this mascara is that it lengthens and separates my lashes in one application. There's no clumps or smudges which makes my lashes look more natural! The brush is dual sided so the first, shorter side is used to lengthen and the second, longer side brushes and separates the lashes. My lashes are thicker, longer and healthy looking!

Healthy definition mascara it’s something unique for me . I’ve never tried mascara like this . The unique is consistent and ingredients, when I wash it off it removes not in pieces and dirt, but in whole parts, as if the shell that was applied to the eyelashes is being removed, it’s really interesting, never saw it before. Silicone brush, short on one side for lengthening, longer on the other side, for good separation, and it really separates the eyelashes very well, as if enveloping them, but I can’t say that it greatly lengthens my short eyelashes, however, that’s why I don’t really like silicone brushes, but In my opinion, they do not lengthen the eyelashes much. Overall, I really liked the mascara, especially its unique consistency and good healthy composition. I hope they also have other brushes for this formula. If you love silicone brushes, I definitely recommend giving them a try!

This mascara looks pretty nice upon application, though I did need to use a lash comb to break up some clumps. Unfortunately, this smudged a bit throughout the day. It wasn’t as bad as other mascaras I have tried, but I’d prefer it if there was no transfer of product.

This eyelash liner is easy to use, it does not run and I like its easy installation, the size is ideal and basically I am going to recommend it to my friends thanks for all guys!

Very good thick mascara. No smudging, no transfer, and does not get clumpy/cakey when it dries. Would definitely buy in the future

I wanted to like this tubing mascara so badly, but it just was not a fit for me. I've heard great things about tubing mascaras and how they are a better mascara option to keep healthy lashes, but I couldn't figure this one out. The shorter bristles on one side of the brush did give a really pretty coat on my lashes, but when I spun the brush around to comb through with the longer bristles it just made a huge mess every time, including coating my lower lashes which I don't like. I'm not someone who spends a lot of time on makeup and I want to put a coat of mascara on and head out the door, but this took me at least ten minutes to apply, clean up, reapply, clean up, etc. For me, I needed more than just water to removed the mascara at the end of the day. I used an oil based cleanser and that was very helpful in removing it from all of my lashes, but the little tubes were everywhere and all over my face. Not easily removed and washed down the sink as I've seen others do.

This mascara is amazing! I absolutely love the definition the two sides give my eyelashes! I was honestly skeptical on using a drug store mascara because I usually use high end ones but this one worked just as well as some of my really pricey ones that I frequently use. This lasted all day through my healthcare job and it didn’t flake or clump or smudge! I would totally buy this again. The packaging is nice as well.

This is honestly one of the best mascaras on the market! I love this mascara because it adds length & volume to my lashes, has a beautifully bold color & it never makes my lashes too crowded or stuck together. My lashes feel very hydrated & Nourished every time I use it and it dries fast so I never get any mascara on my upper eyelid during application. This mascara is very high quality, long lasting, waterproof & great for all day wear!! I also like their packaging- solid white in color with bold letters- direct & straight to the point! I absolutely love Neutrogena’s healthy definition mascara! I found it to be unique and delivered results as promised on the packaging. It provided great coverage without smudging or flaking off. At first I was unsure about the dual- sided brush as I have never used one before, but I found it was a really clever idea to capture the many benefits of a great mascara product such as lifting, lengthening, buildability, and separation of lashes. There were times I wore this mascara overnight and it still wore beautifully the next day. One of my absolute favorite things about this mascara has to be how easy it was to remove. While in the shower, I gave my eyes a gentle rub with warm warm and the mascara almost peeled off, leaving no residue at all. It was so gentle on my eyes and lashes, no tugging or removal of my lashes with the removal of the mascara. So neat! I absolutely loved this mascara, everything from the application process to the removal. I highly recommend it!
