Aveeno Dermexa Wash

Nice gentle wash for sensitive skin. No nasties (which also means no scent, but you can't have it all!!)

they came just in time. I cut some of my agapanthus few days before, and the sap got onto my arms. I got allergic reaction to it and they turned super itchy and bumpy. This body wash is mild, doesnt cause further reaction and sooth my problem.

I found it too thick to use easily. If I had a skin condition it would be soothing.

My daughter suffers dry skin and this has been great to use in summer in the bath. Her skin is not irritated and helps reduces the itch during the night. I have also used this on the shower on a patch of my skin that suffered heat rash. The next morning it was back to normal.

Aveeno Dermexa Wash is a good body wash, helped keep my skin from trying out after shower

I was really hoping to like this Wash because I like the Aveeno brand, I really liked the Aveeno balm I also sampled with it and I do suffer from sensitive skin with areas of dry skin. While my skin did feel a little softer and my sensitive skin didn't react negatively to it, I unfortunately didn't notice a change in the dry patches on my legs, I thought the size of the bottle was too small (my regular wash is 400ml) and I didn't like that it contained sulfates. However, my main problem with the Aveeno Dermexa Wash was the smell. While I appreciate that it is un-fragranced, the scent was quite off putting and reminded me off sort of an oaty curdled milk. So while it may be a great option for those who suffer from eczema prone skin, I will not be buying this wash again and I will not be finishing the bottle.

With a light oatmeal fragrance, you almost feel like you are rubbing breakfast onto your body, but it seems right and healthy and works a treat too. Smooth body wash that leaves your skin feeling moisturised. Previously dry skin is much better after use and the itchiness is gone. Works exactly as expected.

This was a really great wash and not only didn’t strip my skin and dry it out but also kept it really smooth and feeling hydrated. I usually use quite a drying wash because I an prone to body acne but this didn’t seem to cause a problem!

On par with other moisturizing washes, but nothing above average. Personally I can't stand the fragrance, would have rathered it to be neutral. I won't be swapping from my usual product.

My skin is prone to dryness, I've never found a body wash that doesn't require me to moisturize-well after a bath or shower. When using the Aveeno Dermexa wash I found I didn't need to moisturize every time after a bath/shower, every second or third time was enough. Amazing! Being a mum, this saves SO much time (and I'm a bit of a no-time-Nancy anyway). Love this body wash, definitely recommend for those who have dry skin.

Aveeno Dermexa Wash is thick and soothing, fragrance free and feels calming on the skin. It was a good gentle wash option for the sensitive skin of my children and myself. An added benefit was that both my kids happily used it with none of their usual complaints about fragrance being too strong or “yucky”! We will use this again.

Aveeno Dermexa Wash has been a pleasant surprise. I tend to be very much a creature of habit and so I hesitate when considering a change to products I consider my “old faithful”. This product has been fantastic. I have used it on the one arm only to see if there is a difference in my dry patches compared to the other arm. Sure enough the dry patches are gone! Coupled with the cream after shower, my skin is not dry or itchy anymore. Will now pass onto other family members to use on their problem areas as well! 😬

So smooth and lightly sented. Fresh feeling for hours.
