Colgate Smile for Good Protection Toothpaste

I thought it was a fine toothpaste - there was no change to my teeth, there was not real minty flavour that I am used to and like, and the texture is different to what I'm used to. I have noticed a very slight improvement in the sensitivity of my teeth - not sure if this is because of the fact it's a natural product. I'm in no hurry to purchase again personally, but it wasn't bad and if being organic is important to you then it's better than some of the other ones I have tried in the past.

I was excited to try this product as I had been wanting to lighten the colour of my teeth. I have tried a few other products available from the supermarket, but have not been happy with those. That is why I was keen to try Colgate SFGP toothpaste. Unfortunately I did not see any difference to the colour of my teeth in the test time.

Very simple to read packaging and very pleasant to taste toothpaste.

As a long time user of Colgate products I was excited to receive Colgate Smile for Good Protection. The packaging looks awesome, and its recyclable, to my surprise carton and tube are sturdy and looked great. It is Vegan, Sugar free, Gluten free and SLS free and yes this is when I smiled. However that's where it stops. The smell is overpowering and smells artificial. I was so disappointed after my first use, where's the foam, When finished my teeth felt unclean, I brushed for longer than normal and felt like I had to scrub my teeth - I thought ok next time use a little more. It left a bad after taste that stayed with me all day - so maybe I had protection through out the day, this would be a good thing. Next use I applied more product but still no foam and a bad after taste. After using it for 10 days I declared it was no good and I would not be using it again. Another household member used it and I had the same feed back - Sorry Colgate its a fail from me.

I think that it was very good, it did what it was meant to do. Me personally, I didn't really like the "flavour" left an aftertaste that didn't agree with me. My family didn't notice this about it however.

I really love that the package has an easy to read and simple to understand explanation of each ingredient and its purpose. It clearly is vegan, recyclable (packaging and tube) & 99.7% natural origins. This is great as I feel more informed when making my purchasing decision. It was clearish in colour and had no strong taste or smell. I initially liked it although it wasn't the minty vibe I would normally prefer, and then a few hours later I didn't feel as fresh and clean in my mouth so it didn't have that long-lasting freshness and clean feeling as I would expect. The idea is fantastic, but the outcome is not as good as other Colgate products.

I tried the new Colgate Smile for Good Protection Toothpaste and was a little disappointed. The packaging is great, the colour of the toothpaste is clear which was interesting but unfortunately, it contains Xylitol. Xylitol is an artificial sweetener which in certain people with IBS/IBD can have a laxative effect. Overall, the product is not for me.

Something I can do to help the environment while brushing my teeth. Even the tube is recyclable and all natural ingredients - no nasties. Yay! The taste does take a little getting used to, compared to the familiar taste of current Colgate toothpastes but it is fine after a few brushes. Definitely a buy when it goes on the shelf.

The taste of Colgate Smile For Good is very pleasant and refreshing, not overwhelming. It is not gritty or gluggy like others. Easy to rinse out. Being in a recyclable tube and package is a great advantage.

I love the idea behind this toothpaste. The packaging is great, and it all looks the part. The toothpaste was bland, which I prefer over too strong, but very bicarb tasting. The main issue was the lack of foaming. I used as recommended the 1st time and found it difficult to brush with. The 2nd time I used considerably more and it was still watery with little foaming. If you are a fan of bicarb toothpaste, you'd probably enjoy this. If not, I'd try something else.

I found that it is a very thick paste and is very hard to get out of the tube, I it also did not sit on the brush properly due to being thick, so there is a possibility you could lose more then you use, the taste is not strong however, and it does not foam up when brushing. I personally did not like it.

The toothpaste didn’t really have any flavour so my mouth didn’t feel clean after using it. I didn’t notice any change to my teeth over the period. I would only recommend this to people that don’t like the mint taste of regular toothpaste

I really like that Colgate has developed a natural line of toothpaste. Bonus points for being vegan and in recyclable packaging. I have braces and a dry mouth problem due to having a salivary gland removed a few years ago. The Colgate toothpaste was mild in taste which was great for my sensitive mouth. I found the toothpaste to clean well although I did miss the feeling of it not frothing in my mouth like usual toothpaste. Overall I think Colgate have done a fantastic job on their first release of a more natural approach to cleaning teeth.

Colgate smile for good toothpaste unfortunately did not perform as well as my regular toothpaste. While the taste and consistency was good, it did not foam enough while brushing and the fresh after-brush feeling just wasn't there. I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately it just didn't do it for me.
