Gillette Satin Care Sensitive Skin Shaving Gel

I loved the smell but I don't like the rusty ring the can left on my bathtub.

Left skin feeling silky smooth & without any redness

Smelt great, went on smooth, very little waste and easy as to control the flow

Silky smooth easy to apply and makes your skin feel clean and luxurious

This product felt ok on my skin but I had to use far too much for it to actually be effective. I would easily use an entire can in just a couple of weeks, which makes this ineffective both cost-wise and environmentally. It's scent was also very overpowering and chemically laden, which actually gave me a headache. I couldn't recommend this product to anyone in good conscious.

Gillette Satin Care Sensitive Skin was great! You only needed to use a small amount (great on the budget) which lathered easily and helped to guide the razor smoothly (no nicks or cuts!). After shave, skin felt smooth (obviously!) and did not feel dry. Would definitely purchase in the future!

I have found that it doesn’t really help me with having smooth legs after shaving and a lot of the foam gets washed down the drain

This shaving cream comes in a fresh green can with blue lid. The can dispenses out a light blue gel that you need to gently rub onto wet skin to activate into a creamy foam. The scent is delicate, fresh and light with a hint of aloe. Very pleasant and good for those who prefer products that aren’t heavily scented. The shaving gel makes shaving easier as the blades glide smoothly.

The Gillette Satin Care Sensitive Skin Shaving gel was deliberately utilised with a used/older blade and proved to be effective, insofar as there were no cuts/nicks experienced. There was also no appreciable drying or irritation of the skin experienced and the product can therefore be said to be effective in its claim. However, there was also no noticeable difference between this and other shaving creams/gels that I have previously used. Whilst a minor issue, the colour of the packaging was not something that would draw my eye to it in the shopping isle. Whilst I suspect that the light colouring was an attempt to highlight the "sensitive" nature of the product as well as to separate it from the traditional Black/Grey/Blue/Silver etc colours normally seen in male shaving products; in reality it fades into the background from a visual standpoint. Overall this product performed well and yet did not stand out enough in a cluttered market to be considered as a must have item.

I love how easy it is to apply to my legs and underarms without any mess in the bathroom. My razor glided with ease on my skin and didnt drag or pull on my skin. My skin felt very soft and smooth after rinsing. I love the refreshing floral scent of the shaving gel. My sensitive skin didnt feel irritated after using it which is a huge plus for me. I would buy this shaving gel and would highly recommend it for people with sensitive skin!
