Jamie Oliver by Tefal Knife Block 6pc Set

Very impressed by the Jamie Oliver knife set. I have had previous sets of dubious quality but this was literally like slicing through butter. The knives are excellent and made short work of some onions. The block itself is beautiful - really lovely wood, very eye catching and just looks gorgeous on the worktop. I love it!

Exceptional quality and looks stunning on the kitchen bench. Knives work really well. I am very happy with them and cannot recommend them enough. As a family cook who makes who enjoys cooking and prepping meals there is a knife for every use. No need for any others.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Jamie Oliver's Tefal knife block set. The range of knives makes it versatile for use in any occassion and for any range of food preparation. I've used the set for cutting meat, vegetables, bread, fruit and all manner of food items of different shapes, sizes and texture. The knives are brilliantly sharp, light but sturdy and very easy and convenient to use. I would highly recommend this product to anybody.

This set comes with Santoku 16.5cm, Slicing 20cm, Bread 20cm, Utility 12cm, Paring 9cm knives, and an Acacia wood block. The knives are not at all heavy, even for the larger ones. They are quite ergonomic and handle well. They felt very sharp to touch, and are smoothly integrated into their handles. When I used the knives, I found them well balanced. I have used them across a variety of bread, meat and vegetables, and was very impressed with their performance. The bread knife easily went through both fresh and day old bread. The knives cut and sliced so well, whether it was fruits, tomatoes, carrots, and a range of veges, as well as meat. The best thing I have noticed is that after a few weeks of using these knives, they have remained sharp! I have not sharpened these since I got them, and they still perform as though they are new out of the box! The only downside is that once the knives go into the block, then you have no way of knowing which one is which.

Wow, how long have i been using blunt knives? You dont normally associate knives with Tefal, but paired with Jamie Oliver, these do not miss. these elegantly presented knives on a wooden block would suite any savvy and master (home) chef. You would think that 6 knives are way too much, but each has a place in the kitchen. Lightweight by design, these knives pack a punch - so much that i fear them (in a good way!) that they will slice and dice whatever i throw at it. the paring knife seamlessly cuts apples with ease, the santoku glides as it thinly slices vegetables into matchstick pieces , the chefs knife did not disappoint with scoring pork rind on a pork leg or a thick chicken breast. This makes a fine addition to any kitchen, and would be the perfect gift to a budding home chef or as a house warming present.

These knives are the best I have ever used. These are very light weight knives and make cutting/slicing & chopping effortless.

Great knife block set - this is my second knife set and it is by far the sharpest and has a great weight about it from the onset I have had. They are comfortable to hold in the hand and each knives weight relates well to its cutting purpose. The block itself is stylish and modern. I’m happy that the knives are sharpen-able as I am environmentally conscious definitely well worth a try and you will see the difference.

They are sharp, be very careful! There are choices: Chef, Bread, Slicing, Santoku, Utility and Paring. They are ice hardened for superior quality and comes with a responsibly sourced Acacia wood block for storage. The Chef knife is the most commonly used. It is versatile and can be used for big, heavy duty stuff e.g. huge chunk of meats or the entire chicken, but also handles more delicate food like vegetables and herbs well without spoiling the flavour. When used to chop up garlic, it washes clean and does not carry the smell or the taste to the next food. The next most used is the slicing knife. I use it for cutting thin slices of meat eg ham or beef for carpaccio. It handles the frozen block and the cut is clean. You can also use the Santoku for the same purpose. The Santoku is smaller, light weight and is suitable for smaller chunks of meat. Utility and paring knives are the smallest. They are used for fruits and vegetables, and for smaller precision work e.g. carving.

love using the super sharp and super design for a better grip. Can shop and slice anything right from vegetables to nonveg items. It has the case to hold all the knifes safely and it also looks so better on my kitchen bench top. It’s the best gift I could be given. No wonder i am smiling as I am slicing!

The Jamie Oliver by Tefal knife block 6pc set looks stylish on the kitchen bench but the quality of the knives is what really impressed me. Sharp and comfortable to use, they make meal prep a breeze. I particularly love the santoku knife as it’s the perfect size for my small hands and is so sharp.

Oh my god wow what a beautiful knife set, I love the wood grain in the block the knives are so sharp they are amazing you have to be careful cause I did cut my finger, it’s great to have a sharp knife set in the house finally

I was super excited to be chosen to review the Jamie Oliver Tefal knife block set! Love the wooden block, it is nice and solid and very aesthetically pleasing. It looks great on my kitchen bench! The knives are great for those starting out with their first set of knives. The variety of knives is excellent to utilise with different produce and cutting techniques. Personally I need more weight in the handles of my knives so was a little disappointed that these are on the lighter side, but many people would probably prefer that! I’ll still be using them for a long time none the less. Overall sharpness and style is good and they fit really nicely in your hand. The handle is a matte style finish so they won’t slip in your hand. Always remember to keep them sharp with a good sharpener and then these should last the average cook many years to come.
