Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Shampoo

I love this. It’s light on my hair and leaves it feeling soft. My curls form better. I also don’t need to wash my hair as often, the product feels very natural and doesn’t seem to strip my hair if it’s natural oils. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars as it’s not made in Australia.

This has such a unique bottle shape with easy flip top lid. The colour of the bottle stands out in the shower like it's saying 'hello, welcome back. I'm here to invigorate you.' Unlike other shampoos with floral or soap scent this shampoo smell takes you away to another place with it's calming/soothing coconut and a burst of awakening citrus. Not quite as bubbly as most shampoos. I found my roots became oilier much quicker than normal. Amazingly my curly thick hair was still tame at the end of the day compared to normal. More natural product to use than other brands but a little on the expensive side. Great shampoo to treat yourself when you need a little luxury.

I had seen this previously in Coles and was surprised when I noticed the price tag of $22.00! I guess you are paying for the quality ingredients which this product contains. When I smelt the shampoo it definitely took me back to the many, many trips I took to Hawaii during the 80's, 90's and 00's. It reminded me of a smell that seemed to be everywhere I went in Hawaii and I loved it. The shampoo lathered easily and I didn't need to use a lot of it. One thing I did notice that when I let my hair dry naturally the first time I used it, the fragrance did not stay in my hair. There probably isn't much more I can say about the shampoo and as I always like to use a conditioner and I did notice they have the product to complement the shampoo, I feel far better results would be achieved by using both products. I may purchase the matching conditioner if I see it on special. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to trial the Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Shampoo.

I was rather sceptical that the shampoo would do what it says, however from the first time that I used it my hair was soft, smooth and lost it's frizz. I can't wait to buy the conditioner so I can use it in conjunction with the shampoo.

I found without conditioner my hair was dry and flakey worked well in kids hair

First impressions - smells amazing! It was kind to my hair, didn't dry it out and kept the frizz at bay.

First off I thought wow what a lovely product. It would be more suitable for people with really curly hair. It is very hydrating. The only downside was how oily it made my hair. I could only do 2 days and then have to wash as it was too oily for my liking. But overall it was an ok product.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Shampoo makes my hair feel so soft and full of life. I love the smell also. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting softness and bounce to their hair.

The shampoo has a fresh smell to it, it lathered well and didn’t overly sud up. Left my hair feeling clean and when dried it wasn’t as frizzy as normal. Could see the difference after just one wash! Depending on the price I’d use it again.

Smell is nice, makes your hair soft, packaging is smart

Pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. It washes well and leaves hair soft, smooth and shiny, even after a few days. It doesn’t leave any build-up in your hair. It smells so good as well. Love that it has natural ingredients in it, rather than full of chemicals.

My hair is still drier than I would like but definitely less frizzy and it feels thicker and healthier! The shampoo smells lovely too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product! It smells amazing and lathers up to a wonderful foam. It also leaves hair feeling silky even before adding conditioner. I always let my hair air dry and found it had much more body and my curly, frizzy hair had no fly aways and was much more manageable. It didn't make my hair feel as soft as my regular shampoo after my hair had dried. However, my curls looked thicker, had more body and stayed smoother with no frizz even after a long day!
