Slick Backs
I would not recommend this for anyone with curly hair, it barely holds my hair down and still ends up looking messy. Would definitely recommend to go with gel instead if you want that perfect slick finish.

Great product, works really well! Really easy for on the go, I bring it with me in my bag. Only downside is that it doesn't wash out the hair easily.

I bought this as I have a few Mermade tools that I really like, and also because the pink packaging is pretty. It did the job, but I wish it wasn't so hard to wash out of hair. If it was cheaper, I would say yes, buy it to have on hand for big events, but it is just not something I would use regularly or repurchase.
Mermaid hair fly away kit
Mermaids hair fly away kit is easy to apply, good for slick backs as it controls the bits that always fall out. We used this for dance concert hair and it worked well. What I didn’t love was how it felt in the hair and the way it was hard to wash out. I had to wash my hair a few times.

The Mermade fly away stick is so easy to use to tame those flyaways and those pesky baby hairs. If you live in QLD you know the humidity is real so this is so handy to have in your bag to touch up throughout the day as needed as well.

I used this on those days when the flyaways take over, and it does the job nicely. It smooths everything down without making my hair feel greasy or weighed down. Handy little kit to keep in the bathroom or your bag for touch-ups. Nice packaging too, feels a bit luxe.

This is so darn good! I have struggles with flyaways for as long as I can remember and this is absolutely amazing. Using the wax stick before going out and then being able to take the wand with me in my handbag to touch up my hair while out is the best!

I am always running late for work and this helps me so much! The fact i can just quickly chuck my hair in a half up and slick the sides with either the gel wand or the wax stick makes it so easy for on the go! I tend to keep the gel wand in my bag for work and its great for if i have a bad hair day or if my hair has gotten too frizzy throughout the day!
