Monday Repair Shampoo

Yep, I too loved the packaging - the colour, the shape, the size and that it felt like I was doing good by the environment. My hair didn’t mind the results and the scent is so dreamy, but I did need to use a lot of product (and wash 2-3 times) before moving to conditioner. My hair is pretty normal, sometimes dry, I wash 3 times a week and it’s untreated.

My hair and scalp are not easy to please so I’m always on a hunt for a shampoo that will help with the look and feel of my very thin hair but also not irritate my scalp. The Monday shampoo ticked some of the boxes but not all, I found that the formula was quite Gentle on my scalp, so I didn’t end up with redness or tenderness, which I often fill with other shampoos. My hair after it was dry wasn’t bad but it still wasn’t great either, I found it to get knotty quickly and was a bit dry. I do however love the smell and the packaging. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again, but if I didn’t have a choice of many other products that were scalp friendly I would use it.

I was so excited to try this, because I loved the packaging and the fragrance. However, I used it for the course of two weeks with the matching conditioner. I noticed it had quite a tacky, sticky texture (almost like glue or silicone), and it felt very bad on my hair. I rinsed it off well, only to find that my when my hait dried it was frizzy, brittle and so sticky and matted! I would not recommend this, especially to anyone who has thick hair.

I feel when I use this I need to use quite a lot otherwise it doesn't foam and will need to shampoo around three times, do like the conditioner however will most likely not buy it again.

I started using this out of curiosity. I liked the shampoo and conditioner. Cute packaging, however, i didn't feel like it did anything for my hair. I never had that clean hair feel and my hair felt like it was thinning. A variety of hairdressers in my area refused to take customers who used this product as the chemical mixing of dyeing hair had strange after effects including significant hair loss.

This product was definitely good in theory. The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing. However, the quality of the product left my hair feeling brittle and quite damaged. I was left with flaky and frizzy hair

I saw a lot of compliments about the smell of this shampoo and I really wanted to like it because what can be better than a repairing shampoo that makes your hair soft and lingering in nice fragrance for a long time? However it gave me flaky skin on scalp and made my scalp very itchy! I stopped using it after 5 tries.

This product looks great on your bathroom shelf, but doesn't make your hair look so good on your head. I have curly hair, and I didn't find it hydrating enough to reduce the frizz. For use now and again it's fine but not for daily or regular hair washing.

I honestly was fooled by the lovely packaging of this product. Despite being marketed as a repair shampoo I found it did the opposite and left my hair feeling as dry as straw. I continued using for a month with no change unfortunately

I generally shampoo twice and condition once, and found this product dries my hair out quite a bit and smells inexpensive. It's definitely not what I'd expect of salon quality, however the pricepoint is reasonable and the bottle's simple branding make it attractive enough to have as a spare shampoo in the guest bathroom.

Not recommend for anyone with coloured hair. It leaves my hair feeling dry and unloved. Ok for non coloured hair. Would be great if it had more hair nourishing properties.

This shampoo isn’t the worst shampoo in the world but it’s not the best either. It tends to make my hair fallout more than normal so I would be very cautious when using it. This could be a one off thing but I would still look out. Other than that, it smells amazing and doesn’t feel like it strips my hair too much.
