Oral-B Genius 8500 Electric Toothbrush

It is a nice gadget and a toothbrush at the same time. It is helping you to build better habits (which I think it is great for children) and at the same time it is a good helping tool to teach you how to brush your teeth more efficiently without too much pressure which is harmful for your teeth and gums. The in-build sensor and its warning flash that slows down the speed when you apply too much pressure while brushing which is good for those with sensitive gums. I also like the option to pair it with your phone and the dedicated app through Bluetooth (I liked the immediate connection), which helps you to apply the right technique during brushing.The charging lasted for the whole duration of the two weeks testing which is very good.You can control the brush modes through the handle or through the app is great for the technofreaks, lol. I would highly recommended you can’t go wrong with it and if you are willing to upgrade from your manual or simple electric, that’s the one for you.

I couldn't connect the toothbrush to the App on my mobile for some reason, so I used my husband's home mobile which is a newer version of the Samsung S9 than mine and it worked. So I have been brushing my teeth daily at morning and night using the Gum Care Brush head. The brush is a bit noisy and the head spins every quickly and takes a bit of time to get used to, but my teeth feel so smooth and clean so I am very impressed. Love the app as it helps you keep track of how you are brushing and how long, so you actually concentrate on brushing!

The toothbrush is fantastic, cleans well and easy to charge. I love the travel case, what a great idea being able to charge in the case! I downloaded the app but it is a little over the top for me. With a 5 year old in a 1 bathroom house I need to charge it in another room and as the phone holder is a source of fascination I took it down.

The oral-B Genius 8500 Electric toothbrush is a great toothbrush that allows you to monitor your brushing techniques. It was helpful in showing me areas that I was missing in my daily routine, as well as allowing me to monitor things like gum bleeding.

I have avoided using an electric toothbrush until now as I do not like any of the other electric toothbrushes I have previously used as I feel they are quite aggressive, create an uncomfortable vibration in my mouth and make me feel like I am at the dentist having my teeth drilled. I was won over by the sensitive function of this toothbrush and have been very happily using it. There is very little vibration on this setting and my teeth feel very clean and smooth after I use it. I have also been pleasantly surprised with how well the brush head gets into the spots where the teeth meet and have noticed less gunk on my floss when I floss after brushing. I have tried the other functions and will work my way up to the more standard settings as I become more accustomed to using an electric toothbrush. I will never switch back to a plain toothbrush again.

I absolutely love this product and I recommend downloading the app to get the most out of your Oral B genius 8500.It comes with different tooth brush heads to cover all aspects of cleaning,a pressure sensor so you don’t press too hard and a timer which is a feature I love that will have you brushing for the recommend two minutes.Added extras include a travel case and a smart phone holder which is great for your phone when using the app.I personally like to leave my brush on the charging station so the only thing missing is a cap for the brush head.Definetly gives teeth a complete clean when used correctly and I love that smooth feeling that you usually get only after a clean and polish at the dentist.A little expensive but does live up to its promise.

This electric toothbrush is the complete package. The different heads serve different purposes and usage. The Bluetooth functionality is great for those who want to keep track. The mobile phone suction holder is also a nifty inclusion as that could double up for other purposes too. Since using this product, I have found that my teeth are getting a much better clean and I am also saving the amount of toothpaste being used.

It cleans my teeth REALLY well. The app is handy, but not necessary. I found it better to use the toothbrush without being connected to the app, just because the actual brush had a timer so after 30 seconds it would buzz and it was time to brush the next section of teeth! So handy! Also the brush has a light in it which changes colour if you press too hard. Apparently it does have different brushing modes but it doesnt light up to let you know which mode it's in. The modes are on the brush and the lights are there so I'm not sure if it is supposed to light up and mine is just a bit off! Couldn't find anything in the manual about it either! Overall though, it does what it is supposed to do!

Very happy with this product, it's almost like having a dentist professional level teeth cleaning everyday. It cleans beautifully, alot better than when I was cleaning my teeth with a manual toothbrush. Previously with my old traditional manual toothbrush I would often still feel the plaque there and have to brush twice, but now that is no longer an issue. It's a very high quality product. Within the package there are a variety of different tools can be used for cleaning in between the teeth, polishing and whitening teeth. Its also the only brush with Position Detection that sees where you brush and guides you so you never miss a zone. It also has Pressure Control and SmartRing which reduces the brushing speed and alerts you if you brush too hard. The customised speed give you some freedom to choose fast or slow speed whatever suits your needs, so when brushing my teeth I use fast speed and while I clean in between the teeth I choose the slow speed. OralB App works really well too.

This electric toothbrush has caught up with the smart times. I live being able to select the pressure on different areas of my teeth so that the sensitive ones don't hurt. The app works great and no glitches so far. I love being able to tell where I've brushed my teeth and for how long I've been brushing. I'm still testing the different style heads that come with the tooth brush. The battery life is great! Not having to charge for more than a week especially since I'm so forgetful and love to take the toothbrush into the shower. The travel smart case is not only a case but the charger so no need to have it always plugged in while away.

I have not used an electric toothbrush for many years. The Oral-B Genius 8500 really surprised me as I was not expecting it to be so good! I was particularly impressed with the timer and the pressure sensor as they really helped me improve my technique. The colour feedback was great, I found it hard to change between the different modes while I was brushing but this probably just takes a bit of practice. My teeth genuinely feel cleaner using this toothbrush compared to my regular manual toothbrush.

I have never used an electric toothbrush. I found it was light and easy to handle. I really liked how a hard case was included for the toothbrush this was great when I took it to work and when travelling. You get 3 brushes which is good. I thought the app was amazing it directs you on how long to brush when you have finished the area it is all sparkly, it alerts you when you are pressing too hard. It give you tips ion how to improve when you brush next time. you can out in the apo when the brush is ready to be changed. I think having the app makes the product more appealing to customers as they know they are brushing properly. Highly recommend this product well worth the money.

Oral-B Genius 8500 Electric Toothbrush definitely impressed me! I've used different electric toothbrush and as well as manual toothbrush before which is alright but not as good as this. I love how the set come with a Smart Travel case which is great when traveling to keep everything organize and hygienic. The Lithium-Ion Battery it's very long lasting. The 4 cleaning mode its so helpful especially during the lockdown when I'm unable to give my dentist a visit. I love the app helps me to detect my teeth cleaning routine via Bluetooth so I do not missed brushing any spot and the pressure control and smart ring protects my gums. My teeth are much cleaner now and no longer need to waste time to double brush my teeth as I can still see the plaque stain when using other toothbrush. The 3 different toothbrush heads it's perfect as I can choose to use it according to different needs. Have already recommend it to family & friends as I think it's a good investment for a better dental hygiene.
