Roasted and Packed in Australia From Imported Coffee Beans
AI Review Summary
The coffee is frequently praised for its pleasant, rich, full-bodied, and smooth flavour, often described as bold, with many noting its aromatic qualities and absence of bitterness. It is widely regarded as a good instant coffee, often considered superior to other granulated varieties. Customers highlight its convenience, quick preparation, and ability to provide a caffeine boost, noting that it dissolves easily. Many consider it a preferred daily choice due to its good value and reasonable price, and it is often recommended to others, with visitors frequently inquiring about the brand. While generally well-received for an instant coffee, some reviewers acknowledge it does not fully replace freshly brewed coffee, and a minority found the flavour not strong enough. The packaging is also occasionally noted as appealing.
coffee time
I buy this jar as a special treat for myself. It has full flavour and hits the spot when I need that coffee taste. The smaller jar means it is always fresh
Smooth
This is a nice smooth with minimal bitterness for an instant coffee. The aroma is lovely and gives you that warm feeling. Mixes well with milk, but also nice as a black coffee.
On the Go coffee
I normally am not one for instant coffee. I work a 40hr week and run out of time to make one - This is the coffee I turn to. Its bold, strong flavour and I am ready for the day.
When is Coffee not Coffee/
Some traveller guests arrived with this, and asked to leave it as they (European coffee Connoisseurs) did NOT care for it. YUK.... we did not either. it tries to be coffee, but forgot is is supposed to be pleasant to the taste and nose. No thank you.
Great coffee
This is the only coffee I buy now. After having a cuppa at my friends house that is what made the decision for me. It is rich in flavour and fills my caffeine hit wonderfully
Why change a good thing?
Robert Timms Coffee used to be my go to, however, it seems along with the label change a few years ago was also a change in the product. Can't quite put my finger on it, it's just not as good (not as smooth? different flavour? not as full bodied?). In saying so, it still beats many of the other instant coffee brands on the market.
Almost a good coffee
While I prefer freshly brewed espressos from beans I will drink granulated/instant if nothing else is available. Robert Timms Premium Espresso comes 4th in my top choices. It requires a good two teaspoons to achieve the strength that almost resembles a stove top pot. The flavour is a little shy of bold but it does have a chocolatey aroma. The taste, even though I add extra to my small cup, has an underlying weakness that stops me from buying it consistently.
A really nice coffee
I buy Robert Timms espresso coffee when my usual favourite is not on special. It is great replacement, it gives that initial hit of coffee in the first 2 mouthfuls, but doesn’t follow through as I finish the cup like Nescafé. The price is great and the packaging appealing. I still buy Robert Timms as I’m not too much of a coffee snob, just cannot bring myself to pay full price for my favourite each time. I highly recommend to family and friends who really enjoy this coffee whenever they visit.

Great flavour
This coffee has a great taste and is my go-to when I can’t find my preferred brand. However, I don’t buy it regularly because I prefer a really strong coffee. It’s not strong enough for me. They do make a stronger range so I’d definitely buy it if they did.
