Russell Hobbs Addison 4 Slice Toaster Matte Black

What a good looking toaster. I was so surprised at how pretty she was when out of the box. I followed the instructions to “burn it in” and the toast had no residual taste from the “new toaster” smell. The toast cooked really well but not overly even on the sides, which I don’t mind either way. My only gripe is it doesn’t cook large pieces like “butt loaf” or Turkish bread. The kids turned the dual right up to 6 which was way over cooked to the burnt side, no thanks. Leaving the dial on 4 gave a good cook. Like my new toaster, still yet to truly love it.

This toaster was a great addition to my kitchen. The matching Toaster and Kettle are great together. The high lift and wide slots are great for any type of bread, crumpets, waffles, focaccia and muffins. The independent browning control made it easy for everyone to pick what kind of browning they wanted.

This toaster is fantastic. Previously I’ve found some toasters tend to cook one side faster then the other-the toast comes out perfect on both sides. It’s easy to use & super easy to get rid of the crumbs which I really love-anything that makes clean up quick is a winner in my house!

A very nice looking toaster, but feels a light and tinny when you pick it up. Toasts well, seems to take a bit longer than my other toaster. Pretty even toasting, slightly darker towards the bottom of the bread

Russell Hobbs 4 Slice Toaster Matte Black is stunning, great design, colour, looks great. Has Defrost, Reheat and Cancel Function. Easy to Clean & Easy Access to crumb Trays under toaster. Would recommend to empty crumb tray daily as they do start to fall out of toaster.

What a great looking sleek toaster and super easy to use, ticks all the boxes for a great toaster - giving you the option to toast 2 or 4 slices with 2 separate controls. Great at getting the job done!

I loved the look of this toaster, and that it had 4 slots, two is never enough. My only issue was that each side of the toast in two of the slots didn't cook evenly, but apart from that it was really great.

So easy to use. If you use just two slots for your toast, the other slots do not heat up, unlike other 4 slice toasters. The slots are adjustable, so you can toast thin breads or thicker items such as crumpets or a thick slice of sour dough. Easy to use buttons, I toasted my bread from frozen and it turned out great with just one action instead of having to defrost your bread before toasting. So convenient.

I’ve never had a 4 slice toaster before and found it ideal for slice bread. The reheat function was great and came in handy especially when needing to toast bread that little bit more when trying to work out the perfect toasting setting. Loved the matte black colour too.

A great toaster that functions well and looks stylish on the bench top. I like how the toast sits high once complete so it’s easy to grab the toast without having to dig fingers in to retrieve.

This is a seriously sexy toaster! No need to hide this beauty away in the cupboard as it looks amazing just sitting on the bench! Love the functionality, especially the defrost as I store my bread in the freezer. The Matt black colour is lovely and would suit any colour kitchen. If you do have to put it away, it’s not too heavy or bulky. LOVE this toaster!

It's really a quality toaster. Smooth down phase. Even toasting and fine stylish buttons for defrost, etc. It is fairly large though. I think I'd prefer a two slice version.

I really liked the exterior of the toaster. It was super easy to clean and wipe down. All ittook was some warm and soapy water and it was spotless. I found this to be a very basic toaster compared to the other products within the Addison range. I would have at least expected a light to advise when it is cooking or have a countdown timer. I found the toaster crumb plate somewhat difficult to clean to have held it over a sink or bin to empty. Prior to testing out this toaster I was using the Russell Hobbs Hertiage toaster and liked the tray that came out of the back and I could easily empty the ccrumbs out. However the elements within the toaster was great. Toast was toasted evenly across all four slices and across the entire side of the bread. I wanted more from the toaster if I were paying retail price.

It’s good colour, Matt finish, light weight and matches my kitchen bench top. It’s very quick in browning my bread. I like the different settings as my family members eat different way of toasting.

This toaster is excellent. Not only it has 4 slots to make toasting easy and efficient. It also has different functionalities to defrost and reheat and to select how much browning you need for your bread. This was a super effective feature for fussy kids like mine where one prefers toasted and the other prefers light brown. Toaster matched my kitchen and using everyday since it arrived. So happy with this toaster
