Russell Hobbs Brooklyn 4 Slice Toaster - Champagne

The Russell Hobbs Brooklyn Toaster is a nice upgrade from my old 2 slice toaster, it's definitely a good looking toaster so much so I went and upgraded my kettle. But I found that besides being nice to look at to me it's just another toaster, it cooks my toast just the same as any other toaster but does it in style.

I love the gorgeous champagne colour and matte finish which doesn’t leave fingerprints. It’s very compact and fit nicely on the bench. Very simple operation which we exactly need for making toast every morning. It’s very east to adjust the browning, and toast perfectly without flipping on half way. Very stylish, elegant, and compact. Great toaster for every household.

I felt the setting the toaster at three was perfect for me and it toasted very evenly

Luxe matt texture finish, subtle rose gold colour. Easy cooking control. Love the "high lift" to check the toasting without stopping the cooking and then to lift up the sourdough for easy removal. Another great feature is the independent browning control on each side to individualise the cooking preference. Might need to buy the matching kettle ;)

No more flipping the bread for an even toast. It not only looks good sitting on the bench top it toasts the bread quickly and evenly.

I was very impressed with the size and look of the toaster as soon as I opened the box. Wide 4 slice toaster that look stylish and elegant. Loved the Champagne colour, very modern. The toaster had a smooth and gentle slide operation, very quiet when operating and effortlessly easy to use. A good range of options and settings making toasting very easy to the whole households liking. It arrived late so only trialled for about 5 days so far and have not yet cleaned to crumb trays. The trays are accessible and appear wide enough to catch the majority of crumbs. I love the wide slots which make toasting thick cut bread, crumpets and muffins so easy.

The Russell Hobbs Brooklyn 4 slice toaster has a great look and the quality of the built is evident in the feel and appearance of the toaster. I followed the instructions and used the toaster empty on the highest setting and left it ready for the next day. The colouring on the bread was great and consistent over the whole slice. It was a perfect cook straight away so I didn't need to adjust my dial at all. The defrost and reheat bottoms are handy as well. The reheat button is great if you like your toast cooked a little more when it pops out. I found for the first couple of slices one side was cooked more than the other but that's gone away through use.

Looks It has a sleek design and doesn’t look like yet another bulky appliance. The champagne colour is timeless. However the stainless steel gets dirty with minimal amount of touching and the result is a lot of finger prints left behind Use It is simple to use and there isn’t a need to read the instructions to understand the features. Having the separate toasting settings allows for varying levels of “toastness” according to who’s using it and their toast preferences. Both toast evenly (see attached photo) Cleaning Each side has an individual crumb tray. It is easy to remove, just gently push it and it pops out. Extra features The highlift feature is handy if you’re toasting something smaller than the traditional white bread, such as an English muffin. It allows the bread to be easier to access. Another extra feature I noticed and appreciate is that the electric chord is quite long and the toaster has a built in recess for the extra chord you might not want to hang loose

First of all it looks great, our old toaster is plain silver and this one definitely caught my eyes. I have only used a few times and the roast came out evenly, I really like the seperate control to accommodate everyone in the household, can’t tell the built quality yet, I hope this will last!

Loved the color, looked so elegant. Simple and direct to use. With the setting set to level 3.5 the toast came out with the right crisp but one side was slightly darker than the other. The toaster also beautifully defrosted and toasted a frozen slice of bread with the level set to 3.5! My first seeing this feature on a toaster! This toaster also fits a thicker cut bread slice, which is another plus point. So happy to have this toaster!

We found the russell hobbs brooklyn 4 slice toaster to be great. Having the two sides when two people can use it at once which has made the mornings so much easier. We love that we can reheat the toast.

This has to be the most attractive toaster ever! Was so excited to take it out of the box and look at its gleaming curves with that contemporary champagne colour that suits most home decor. Very easy to operate and just have to work out our ideal setting for perfect toast. Think I slightly over browned the first lot but that will improve with trial and error. Definitely will recommend this toaster to friends and now on the lookout for the matching kettle. Haven't used the extra features as yet but am sure that they won't be difficult to use as the buttons are large and well labelled. Also love the wide slots so that we can toast thick bread and no waiting for my partner to finish toasting, with the handy 4 slots. Overall, very impressed with this toaster!

This toaster is more compact than my old toaster and looks so smart on my kitchen bench. It’s got heaps of different settings so toast, crumpets and my favourite fruit loaf come out the perfect colour every time Really great toaster with a gentle toast pop that doesn’t throw my bread out of the toaster like some machines can do

At first, I love the design of this toaster. It has minimalistic but stylish look and the matte champagne shade really makes the toaster pop on my countertop. Even though it’s 4 slice toaster it’s light and compact. It features defrost, reheat and cancel functions on both sides and browning control makes it convenient to keep your preferred setting. It toasts evenly on both side and it doesn’t burn my toast either. I like my toast golden brown and I immediately got the settings on the right level. Definitely a great addition to our family- makes the toasting so much quicker and easier.
