Small but mighty
This vacuum cleaner is small but mighty. It had quite the suction power for its size. It was a little hard to pull back over my rug and it skipped a bit but it got all the debris which was its purpose. Using this over tiles was a breeze with no issues at all. I love the length that the handle extends to so there is no need to have to hunch over when cleaning. This is easy to carry when packing it away and very small so it’s ideal for small places. We have a cat which leaves fur around and I found this also worked well to pick that up. I cleaned my car and it was great with the small attachment to get into every nook and cranny. For a budget vacuum I would say this does a fairly good job.

Compact but mighty
I’ve been using the Russell Hobbs Compact XS for a few weeks, and overall it’s been a pretty decent vacuum — but it’s not flawless. The compact, lightweight design makes it easy to pick up and move from room to room — great for a small apartment or flat. The vacuum is easy to store when not in use. The dust-bin capacity is great for quick cleans, and the “lift-and-lock” bin system means emptying is fairly easy too. However, suction seems a little underwhelming — it works fine for light cleaning and dust, but when I tried it on thicker carpet or heavier dirt it struggled a bit and had to go over it a couple of times. Because it’s meant for smaller spaces: for a larger home or heavier cleaning workload, you might find yourself wanting more power or capacity in a bigger model. Overall, I thought this small but mighty vacuum would be the perfect fit for a small apartment or quick vacuuming jobs, and it was so nice to use something lightweight and easy to navigate!

Honestly amazing
This Russell Hobbs vacuum is amazing. As soon as I took it out of the box, I loved how compact and lightweight it is, which makes it really easy to store and move around the house. I started by using it on the floor in my living room, and even though it’s a small vacuum, it has strong suction and picked up dust and dirt quickly and easily. Then I switched to the small attachment, which is perfect for more detailed cleaning. I used it on my couch to vacuum up cookie crumbs and bits of food, and I was honestly impressed by how well it cleaned those tight areas without me needing to go over the same spot many times. After that, my husband clean the car, both on the seats and on the floor. The size of the vacuum makes it very convenient for getting into narrow spaces, corners, and small areas that are usually hard to reach, and it still kept a strong suction the whole time. I really love this vacuum.

Small but too noisy
There are lots of downsides of this product started from unpacking it as I discovered poorly made brush end that barely have any bristles on it. Once it stuck to the floor then it barely slides and it takes a bit of a force to move the brush along. Like the long 5m cord as most vacuums have short ones. The slick stylish design makes it easy to fit in a cabinet. And it’s very noisy. I can also smell the dust while vacuuming which is maybe due to the vacuum being new. The instructions are poorly laid out any features. I’m quite surprised as it looked like it made with poor quality material. I’m happy that I’ve tried it as I was thinking of getting one but I’ll opt out of it. So besides a design and a 5m cord there’s nothing I like about this vacuum. It vacuums carpet without a problem but floors and tiles are getting tricky to vacuum due to very bad brush head that barely moves as it’s doesn’t have much bristles on it to help it glide.

Small and efficient
I have really enjoyed using this vacuum, its smaller and lighter which makes it super easy to manuver, especially up and down stairs. It has a decent length cord, which I love and even though its small its not lacking in power.

Great on hard floors!
I have had an expensive leading brand vacuum for at least 15 years, and I have to say this little vacuum surprised me! Easy to use, did a great job on my hard floors and was quick to set up and pack away. Biggest advantage was my 4 year old thinks it is his, and plays "cleaning" everyday... so from my perspective it operates itself too! If you can handle a plug in vacuum and have hard floors- save a bunch of money and get one of these!

Could convert me back to cord vacuums!!
As someone who has only used cordless vacuums in the last 4-5 years I must say it was strange going back to one with a cord but this vacuum is small but mighty. It definitely is a lot more versatile than even a cordless vacuum and cleaned my floor better than my original vacuum. I made sure I put it to the ultimate test only cleaning after my children came home from daycare so the carpets were full of sand and food, but this vacuum cleaned it up effortlessly. It is light weight and easy to assemble, you can retract the hand vacuum arm to compact it even more. Overall it is an amazing tool, only reason I put 4 stars is that I find the cord isn’t long enough and I am used to not having to pause mid vacuum to plug it in somewhere else. This is a fantastic tool and definitely one I would recommend to friends and family!!

Powerful small vacuum
This vacuum is nice and small for an apartment. Very powerful vacuum and doesn’t take up to much space. I found it very easy to empty and it moves really well. I’m used to a stick vacuum but this is really good.

Great little vacuum
Wow! Very light and compact which makes it very easy to move around and manoeuvre. Has great suction power with a very easy to empty compartment. Also comes with attachments to help get into the corners. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something light, powerful and easy to use.
