Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron

I found the iron to be good. It was so nice to iron my husbands work shirts without having to deal with the power cord. The iron heated up fast however I didn't think it had much iron time before having to place it back on the charger.

I appreciate the chance to have tried a new product from Russell Hobbs. I really liked the idea of the cordless iron, that was the first thing that caught my eye! Secondly, was the really fast 5 second recharge! No need to wait for the iron to heat up. The high power of heat that is expressed from the iron is very good, therefore you do not need to start with a high setting. The same way it charges quickly, it also irons a fabric very quickly too! Easy to use instructions and seems durable. Highly recommend this cordless iron for anyone that is constantly ironing regularly. Very handy and worth the product!

Convenient for moving around (getting tangled up isn't great). But be prepared to charge up frequently during uses!

This is a great iron! It was so easy to use, it has an ultra light weight design and the cordless aspect of this means its more easier to iron harder items. My jeans and T shirts now look amazing! Ironing was one of my most hated chores. This wonderful product has made ironing so much easier!! I highly recommend this.

This was such a change from my usual iron. Without having a large laundry to iron in the ability to move more freely with the iron was such a joy. It made ironing so much easier, and way less of a pain. I wasn’t worried about tripping on the cord or the cord getting caught on something which was brilliant. I would recommend this to anyone, especially people with small living spaces.

This iron has been amazing. Charges quickly on the base and able to move around without any cords getting in your way. Highly recommend this iron with its smooth base and easy to navigate handle for difficult items.

Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron is such a genius invention. A must have for everyone. I love the whole concept of this iron. Having a cordless iron is very convenient and makes ironing incredibly easy! So easy to use, just plug in and leave the charging station on the bench, there are no cords to trip over. The iron charges fast and efficiently only about 5 seconds. Handy lights on iron base and beeping functions let you know when the iron needs to be charged and when it is ready to use. Iron comes with an easy dial that can be adjusted for heat settings, the iron glides effortlessly thanks to the lightweight of this iron. The steam functions work very well, no large amount of water sprayed. The only con I would say about the iron is that you need excellent lighting conditions to see how much water has been added. It is difficult to see in poor lighting with the dark colour scheme of this iron.

I've always have struggled and been annoyed with the iron cords. And this iron has been a pleasant change. Also it has beautiful design, pleasure to iron. The only thing - the ironing time is quite short, often needs to be recharged, but at the same time it's recharges in 5 seconds, so that ok. Great product.

I like this cordless iron it really makes my job easier I can iron where ever I want. It recharges quickly easy to use. It has variety of functions that is also best about this Russell hobbs iron. I will definitely recommend this.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron! I have only ever used cheaper corded irons, so to receive a cordless iron was like a dream come true! Having a cordless iron means that I am able to iron wherever I feel most comfortable (in front of the television obviously!). It is lightweight and portable, and when not in use, it sits on a smart light ring stand (which also lights up when it the iron ready to use). It charges quickly, and the charge lasts for quite a while, which is an added bonus! Overall, I really love the Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron, and recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade their iron! 5/5 stars from me.

I love the whole concept of this iron but in reality it still needs work to reach its full potential. My first test was ironing children’s pants and it needed recharging before I could finish one leg. Also I found myself waiting for the recharge to complete before I could continue, making the job take a lot longer.

It was tricky to get used off to start with. Once we learnt the best way to use it, it has been a god sent not getting caught up in cords. You have to be willing to unlearn how you use an Iron and start from scratch to get the full use of this Iron and not get frustraighted with it. Pros: cordless, easy to use once figured out, looks good. Cons: Goes cold quick but if your Iron to how it recharges then you can find a way that works.

The iron is very good, I loved it and the special features that it has is firstly; It is wireless and this characteristic is good so that the wire does not come under the iron during ironing. Secondly, the iron irons very easily and in an excellent manner. Third, the steam work in the iron is very wonderful and does not pour water during ironing, and this is an excellent thing. I like to say that the iron is great, easy to charge and operate, and I recommend it!

The Russell Hobbs Freedom Cordless Iron is so easy to use. It heats up in just 30 seconds, making it really convenient for people who are time poor. I love that there is no annoying cord in my way when I’m trying to iron. I did find that it takes a little bit longer to reheat then the box advised but it was only about 20 seconds which is still really fast. It glides over the clothes really smoothly and just made ironing so much easier. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

The instructions were very easy to follow. The charging plate n iron works exactly as described but it was not as fantastic as I’d imagined. The cord is still attached at the plate rather than the iron. Hence whilst it doesn’t have cords getting in the way during ironing, it requires constant ‘charging’. On several occasions, I had to stand n wait for it to charge up - only a few seconds, but annoying enough when it occurs a few times. The iron works super well in ironing creases out, but the cordless iron feature was not enough to compensate for the waiting around. Great idea but not quite there.
