DreamBone Protein Rings Chicken & Sweet Potato

The texture of these treats slows down pup from swallowing them down whole. He absolutely loved them and they don’t smell bad for the hooman giving fur babies the treats. I have a multi dog home and even my older dog who had teeth pulled and has trouble with some harder treats was able to enjoy these treats. They are a bit large for my pug so I had to cut them in half but all 4 of my dogs enjoy them. I recommend these and am looking forward to my local store stocking them. They will be a regular treat in our home.

I was very happy with the ingredients in these treats but i would not recommend for a dog who hoovers their food and treats. This being a rawhide alternative i thought my dog would chew it she did not.

My dogs both seemed to really enjoy these, but I am not sure how much I did. My 40 lb mixed breed seemed to chew them down safely and easily. My 20 lb Boston with an underbite seemed to have more challenging time chewing them which made me nervous, so I watch her every time she eats one just to be safe. They are thick and chewy, so I am sure the underbite does not help that. But once again, the dogs definitely liked them so that is why they get 4 stars…1 less than 5 stars cause of my nerves.

Our dogs smelled the rings and then gobbled it up. And then barked for more. I love the minimal ingredients in the treat. I will definitely buy Protein Rings for my Jack Russels.

Dream Bone Protein Rings have received 2 thumbs up, or should I say '4 paws' up, from my three Cavaliers. I have been very reticent to feed them rawhide, due to the dangerous issues that it causes. So I enjoy the fact in which the first two ingredients that make up Dream Bones are chicken and dried sweet potatoes. The only thing that makes me a little leery is that they contain glycerine; although glycerine is used as a sweetener and to bind ingredients together into chewy treats, their packaging merely states 'glycerine'. So I do not know if it is a 'natural' vegetable glycerine or a by-product. I would presume that it is the former, since the package states 'no preservatives or flavours added'. But it would be a good idea to qualify if the glycerine is natural, as I mentioned. I also like their shape, which reminds me of sliced cored apples. All-in-all, Dream Bone Protein Rings pass the test in what my boys would say is 'a scrumptulicious treat!'

My dog loved the taste of these treats, but I had to break them into smaller pieces, as they are very chewy and he had some difficulty getting through them. Chicken is the first ingredient, with no added preservatives. This is a much healthier choice than most snacks on the market!

I tested the treats with my GSD and two of his buddies. All had very different reactions. One dog sniffed and walked away. Another dog liked it but had a terrible time chewing it. We had to cut the treat into smaller pieces. My GSD scarfed it down and picked up the treat the other dog walked away from.

Our puppy loves these! We’ve been using them as a reward for her going into her crate! She really enjoys them, they take her a little bit of time to chew them which is great for her teeth! We will for sure be buying these in the future! The ingredients is a buying feature as well! So nice to see a dog treat that is not filled with a bunch of garbage!

On my dog's behalf I would have to say that he loved these chews. The real chicken and sweet potato was a hit for sure. He kept wanting more and any time I picked up the bag he was right there waiting. He was able to chew them easily and had no issues digesting them. I feel confident giving my dog these treats as they are made with only 5 ingredients and with no added wheat, soy, corn, or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. These chews not only make a tasty treat, but a great way to have extra protein and a healthy alternative to rawhide.
