This is such a brilliant twist off the original Monopoly. It’s easier, it’s quicker, it has less pieces and less setup, and it comes with ALOT less family drama. I haven’t had someone try to flip the table in this version, unlike the original…
Our Go-To Game for Cozy Family Nights
This card game has become one of our favorite ways to slow down and be together as a family. We play it on cozy farm nights, especially on snowy days when Forrest comes home from Nova Scotia, or when Ava visits from Saskatchewan. On weekends when Tegan is here, or on Cyrus’s day off, this game always comes out. Ty and I sit at the table, the dogs stretched out nearby, and now even our little budgie, Goody Khanum, chirping along like she’s part of the game. It’s easy to learn, fast to play, and full of laughs, which makes it perfect when everyone’s together but doesn’t want a long, complicated setup. It’s one of those games that feels simple but brings everyone into the moment — just cards, laughter, and time well spent.

great travel game
finally got the kids off their phones and tablet while traveling to hockey every weekend. they now play these travel games in the back and seem to have re-connected with one another. great family road trips again.
