great hydrating cleanser!
I use The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm weekly and love how it melts makeup while keeping my dry skin hydrated and calm. It’s gentle and unscented, but can feel greasy for some and might not suit oily skin. Overall, a great hydrating cleanser!
Great Cleanser
I was skeptical about how my skin would feel after using something that seems heavy to ‘cleanse’ my skin. I was amazed, after the first use! Initially, I used it as a second cleanse, but after seeing its cleansing power, I decided to use for as my go-to. Removes makeup -I don’t wear much, though- and leaves skin feeling clean but hydrated.
A must have
A must have in my routine!! I bought this to test after a disastrous journey with oil cleansers. This ended up being perfect for me. Takes off makeup and sunscreen without drying my skin. It doesn't break me out or leave sticky or filmy residue. I love it. I always buy backups and gifted this to my friend. Highly recommend
Does not lather, stays greasy
This oat cleanser was unfortunately not a good fit for my skin. The formula did not rinse clean, leaving a persistent greasy residue. It also lacked any lather, which I personally prefer in a cleanser. My skin felt unclean after use, which is disappointing. I much prefer the Clinique cleansing balm for its effective and comfortable cleansing experience.
My take of Oat Cleansing Balm
I got this product because I wanted to try it because it came in a set with other things I wanted. As a person with eczema, I would really think this oat balm would be really good for me. When I tried it, it felt really weird at first and then the next couple times it just felt really weird and I didn’t feel clean after using it and it also had a little bit of a weird smell to it in my opinion I do not recommend this but if you’re someone who only likes to use oat products, maybe you can give this a chance.
Great Cleanser, Annoying Packaging
The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm is super gentle and effective – love how it melts away makeup without stripping my skin. But the packaging? Not so great. It’s a pain to squeeze out the last bits, so a lot gets wasted. Plus, it takes a bit of effort to rinse off completely. Still, the results are worth it!

I liked this oil cleanser it melts down really well in your hands and removes all oil and gunk from the day. it lathers into a nice milky cleanser that left my face feeling hydrated and soft. the only negative is it is a bit heavy and sometimes i find leaves a bit of a reside on the skin.
Perfect Consistency
I found this after looking for a cleanser that would remove all my makeup (face and tough eye makeup). It’s a thinner consistency which means I can really work it around and gently remove all my makeup without a seperate eye makeup removing product. Gentle, lo/no scent, great daily cleanser.
Just Ok
This cleansing balm was just Ok and did its job. I felt that it left some residue on my skin and I had to cleanse again with my regular cleanser. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate at all. No overpowering scent either.
Overall good value product
Removed makeup well as a first cleanse but requires a secondary cleanse as it leaves some residue. Did not break out my acne prone skin. No scent either which is nice. I would recommend this product to those with sensitive skin for sure.
