Testing after c-sections
Having had 3 c-sections I thought I would try the patches to see if they made any difference to my scar. Even after 5 years my scar can be a little sensitive to touch, so I was slightly worried about applying the patches to it. The patch is very soft so I hardly noticed it was on, it didn’t hurt at all. After 8 weeks of use, my scar was definitely softer and slightly less raised.

Would recommend
The application is very easy. It is great that you can cut to size, my scar isnt straight so I used a couple of cuts to ensure it covered. Visibly, the scar was reduced! It faded significantly. The patch stayed on for he most part, but tight jeggings did disrupt it a bit. All in all a good experience.

Not impressed - pain to remove!
I found the Elastoplast Scar Reducer XL really easy to use and apply. But, removing it was something that always made me cringe. Considering you cannot feel it when worn, I had imagined it would be fairly easy to take off as well, but it feels like a sticky plaster and where it was placed (on my c-sec scar) didn't make it any easier to remove either. My scar looked a little bit better with the use of Elastoplast Scar Reducer strips, but nothing that left me majorly impressed. Will not recommend.

Elastoplast Scar Reducer XL
This product does exactly what the name suggest. The scar from my cesarean is much lighter in colour since using it. It stays on well and does not leave a sticky residue. The only slightly annoying thing is the length of time you have to where it, however I am quite happen to put up with that given the results. I would recommend to anyone who wants to dim a scar so it is less visable.

Scar reducing magic plasters
After using this product over a few months I have visibly seen a change in my c section scar from when I had my son nearly 4 years ago. It’s not as thick feeling, and blends in better with the other skin around the area. The plasters were easy to use and put on, they stayed in place and didn’t irritate the skin at all. The only thing I found was because my skin is a little more delicate in that area I had to take some time to slowly take the plasters off before reapplying a new one as they were very sticky to the skin, but they didn’t leave any sticky residue behind

Comfortable and Fuss-Free
Elastoplast Scar Reducer XL has been a dream to use and incredibly effective. I started seeing visible results after a few days of constantly using it (lightening of scar) but my favourite thing about the product is how un-intrusive and comfortable it is. For most products, I don't feel like I want to use them after awhile (eg scar creams etc) because they're fussy to apply or very uncomfortable to keep on for long enough. However these plasters were great and I would thoroughly recommend! I forgot they were there a lot of the time.

Good but not great!
I was gifted these scar reducing plasters to try. I followed the instructions and I have noticed a difference to my scar. It has certainly improved on its appearance and isn’t as raised as before, but not significantly better. Perhaps they need to be used for a longer period of time. I would recommend them to others and I’m sure the results will differ from person to person.

Easy to apply and would recommend!
Easy to apply and doesn't feel like you are wearing it. I really like the feel of this on the skin and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my scar not only reduced down but the redness went away.

Definitely worth a try
I was sceptical whether the plasters would work as my c section scar is 8 years old, but after trying it out I can see a noticeable difference - the scar did not disappear but the redness has reduced substiantially.

Elastoplast 5* product!
I would (and intend to) buy this product again, the plasters are as easy to use as any plaster is but have amazing sticking power and once in place stay in place and cannot be felt. I find sometimes plasters can irritate my skin; not these they didn’t itch at all, and the result were actually remarkable. Of course there is still always going to be a scar but it has reduced considerably. I am expecting further surgery soon and was advised to use another product to reduce scaring that I don’t like because it’s oil. I’ll be purchasing these plasters instead because the ease of use and results are better than any product I’ve ever seen. Too marks to Elastoplast!
