Elastoplast Scar Reducer

I was skeptical about this product when I first had it, as many people would be. How can a plaster reduce my scar? I must admit that was I absolutely astonished after about week 3 when I started to notice visible changes. My scar is on my stomach from a childhood injury and due to it's location being on a bendy part of the body, it healed in an outwards fashion. The plasters reduced the elevation of the scar, and whilst visibly it can still be seen, it is significantly less obvious and textually it's barely noticeable - before you could feel it, but now you cannot. I would recommend these plasters for similar types of scars. The plaster gave me no irritation, was clear so not noticeable and easy to remove too!

I was really looking forward to trying these due to a large keloid scar following a mole removal. Sadly, after 8 weeks of leaving the plasters on for at least 12 hours a day, sometimes up to 20 hours a day there hasn't been any change. The scar is the same shape and size as it was before, and the skin hasn't softened at all.

These were easy to use and conveniently packaged individually. They are quite large plasters but were easy to cut to the size I needed. They stay on very well until you are ready to peel them off. Just make sure you do not apply body lotion before you apply these plasters because they won't stick well. Even through a workout, they still stayed on relatively well. After the testing period, I noticed that both my keloid scars looked paler and flatter. There is an improvement, however my scars are still noticeable maybe because they have been with me for years. I believe you may get much more noticeable results if your scars are more recent. I would really recommend giving these a go.

I was not overly impressed with the elostoplast scar reducer plasters. They were fiddly to put on and very hard to get off. Left a thick sticky substance that took forever to wash off. My scar looks near enough the same as before maybe slightly less red. I am overall disappointed and would not buy them or recommend

I got the Elastoplast Scar Reducer plasters for a small scar on my chin which i've had for over a year, i didn't really think they could make much difference but thought I would at least give them a try. How wrong I was, the Elastoplast Scar Reducer plasters are miraculous, after using them solidly for a month my scar is practically invisible. I have recommended these plasters to all my friends and will continue to do so to anyone who asks, an amazing product that it well worth trying if you have a scar you dont like the look of.

My scars were fairly new having already had one surgery earlier in the year and by the time I had received these, I had just had a second. I was extremely grateful as on my second surgery, my scars were larger, more raised and unsightly. Firstly, I love the convenience of these. Well packaged, can be cut to size so no waste and plenty of use and after you pop them on you can forget all about them. They didn't irritate my skin or bother me whilst wearing. Secondly, they can withstand a lot of perspiration. I wore them overnight so in shower wear not tested but being chronically ill means regular night sweats and most times they didn't budge at all. And they've helped massively! Perhaps because my scars were fairly recent, I'm not sure and will continue to test on older scars and review, but within days they were noticeably less raised, smoother and visually improving and they continue to improve. Very happy. These were gifted to me to review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

These plasters are very easy to apply. The results can be seen very quickly I found on recent scars. Took a bit longer to have a visible effect on older scars. Just wear one for several hours a day or over night and your scar will visibly improve quite quickly I found. I would definitely recommend these plasters.

I have always been sceptical of products like these and never wanted to get my hopes up that would actually make much of a difference , i have a few scars from a dog attack a few years ago that can make me self conscious so when i researched these i couldn't wait to try them ,they are discreet enough that they aren't really that noticeable unless very close and they didn't irritate my skin or scar , i followed the easy instructions and for about 4 weeks when i started to see the results , my scar looked less angry and red , this made me more excited to keep going with them so i did , i'm extremely happy with the results while obviously i still have my scars they are far less noticeable and this makes me feel so much more confident about myself which is priceless to me

Elastoplast plaster hydrated and moisturized my scarred area, helped to appear flatter and more faded over time.I was really happy to try out this product and I was surprised that it really worked.The only thing I didn`t liked was that over night plaster moved a lot..maybe that`s because of the place where I have my scar(on my arm)Overall I had an positive experience and the best thing that results are guaranteed.

I used this product for over 8 weeks wearing them for at least 12hrs a day. I would change mine in the morning so I wore mine a lot longer so not sure if that improved results or not. My scar for my c section wasn't really raised but it did a have a big stretch mark going right through the middle that was quite wide and dark. These did improve the tone and texture of the skin, it feels smoother and looks lighter in appearance than it previously did. So that is a bonus, I would recommend trying them if you want to improve the look and feel of your scars. I think the key is to wear them for the minimum amount a day to improve chances of better results.

Easy to use. Improved the scar on my knee making it flatter and lightened it slightly.

For me personally it didnt make any difference, even though I used this continuously for 8 weeks I didnt see any difference in my scar by the end of the 8 weeks

Elastoplast scar reducer is a good product overall. It helped me reduce the redness of my scar in few weeks. The plaster is not too big but not transparent so it might be exposed depending on the position of the scar.

The Elastaplast scar reducer was impressive. My scars faded within the first four weeks. I am very pleased with the results.
