NIVEA Refreshing MagicBAR

Originally I was a little wary of the product because of it looking like soap, however after the first use it definitely didn’t dry up my skin. After nearly two weeks of using I have seen an improvement in how moisturised my skin is and I will keep on using this product

I loved the packaging this Nivea refreshing MagicBAR came in, environmentally friendly and plastic free. On removing the bar I could instantly smell the refreshing blueberry fragrance which was not overpowering. I have used this product for over 7 days now. Every time I use it, it lathers well in my hands, the blueberry smell is invigorating but not overpowering during use. Previously I used to use Dove soap bar on my face as I have a very oily T-Zone and felt this would dry out the oiliness however that would only last a few hours before I would be washing away the oil again. On using this amazing almond oil infused bar I have noted an improvement in my oily T-Zone. The soap does not dry out my skin, in fact keeps it moisturised through the almond oil use and throughout the day my T-Zone is no longer saturated with oil which means no more washing my face again and again, my skin feels softer and looks healthier too. I will definitely be purchasing Nivea Refreshing MagicBAR again!

So I'm not the biggest fan of using a bar of soap but this was amazing. I used it everyday for a week and it left my skin feeling super soft and refreshed. And it is vegan too so not too many harmful ingredients and it just feels nice and replenishing. Lathers up well too and comes in a nice compact little box. The scent for me personally is not anything to rave about but the effects of the soap are great.

The bar arrives in a very eco friendly cardboard box. No single use plastic wrappers either which great for manufactures to get on board. The bar itself it a nice size to hold in the hand, especially once its all soapy and wet. It foams just the right amount and has a very neutral fragrance. Lathering and washing the face feels very moisturising and soothing. Once I'm rinsed off, my face feels soft and smooth with no residue or stickiness. Love it!

Really lovely product! I’m always looking for ways to reduce the amount of products I’m buying in plastic packaging but still want the same great quality. This ticks all the right boxes. Smells great, leaves your skin feeling super clean but soft and glowy. Not stripped like a lot of other cleansers I’ve tried. This bar will last me probably double the time of my usual cleanser aswell so saving money! 100% would recommend!!

Liked that the product came in recyclable and minimal packaging. A small, compact well designed product in a lovely pale blue colour. The bar feels smooth and silky to hold and is a well designed shape to fit in your hand when using. The bar was easy to use, either at the sink or in the shower/ bath, quick to make into a good thick lather. Easy to apply, feels smooth on skin and easy to rinse off. After using skin feels smooth, fresh and clean, has a hint of fragrance on skin after use not too strong and over powering. Works well as a single or double cleanse daily product.

After the first application, I felt the differences on my skin. It was soft, flexible and slightly taut. The smell is not intense, which is a plus for me. I can see that such a small soap will last for a longer period of use.

Had a really bad skin reaction to product, come up in a rash and sore skin for days after using it. Very disappointed and sad with results.

In our world, where single-use plastic is still heavily used, most of those ending up in our oceans, this is a small step in the right direction from Nivea. This facial cleanser comes in a shape of a bar and is presented in recyclable paper packaging. This is not a fragranc-free product, but the blueberry scent is very subtle and pleasant, not overwhelming. I found this bar to be very gentle, as it did not dry out my skin and left it soft after using it, so it makes a great asset in my skincare routine.

I like the idea of the product as it is less waste and plastic free. It feels eco friendly to use which I love. However the actual product did make my skin feel slightly dry. I will keep reusing to see if I get on with the product more though.

I received a cube of nivea refreshing almond oil and blueberry for testing. I was positively surprised by the cardboard packaging and the ecocert certificate which is very big plus for me. The smell is very delicate, practically imperceptible. The product foams very well. I have sensitive and couperose skin, so I have to be very careful about what products I use for face care, but after using the product, my skin was nice, clean and moisturized. There was no redness or other unpleasant symptoms. I was really pleasantly and positive surprised. The cost of a Nivea cube is around £4.50 which I also consider a plus because the product is very efficient. I also like the fact that it is freely available in every store. I will definitely buy Nivea Bar again. In my opinion this product really worth recommending. I think I will also buy other from this series.

First of all, I would like to say that I use Nivea products a lot as I have a sensitive skin and Nivea is one of not many products that don't leave me with itching.I have to be very careful what skin products I use especially on my face as I often get red blotches and have a very dry skin. I'm a person who uses make up every day, and Its very hard to get it all of using just make up remover so the soap was great to get all the make up off after a long day. The soap is very refreshing and leaves the skin smooth and it doesn't irritate the face. I would highly recommend the soap and will definitely keep using it and buy it again.
