NIVEA Watermelon Shine Caring Lip Balm

Ive been wearing this lip balm for a couple of days now. You can smell the watermelon but it doesn't last long and there is a hint of red colour which I like. The application is really easy and it does moisturise your lips. But you will need to keep applying every few hours, which is normal for most lip balms that i've used.

When using the lip balm the first thing you recognise it the sweet watermelon smell which is nice. It slides on easily and is true that no mirror is needed for suitable application. It has a light pink tint which was subtle and it stayed on for quite a good amount of time before a touchup was required. After 3 days of continuous use my lips are refreshed and hydrated. I would definitely recommend this product.

The lip balm is easy to use and smells great. The scent is pretty strong within the container but not so much when on your lips which is good. The colour looks brighter in the container than when you put it on your lips, it has a nice rosy type tint to it. It does leave transfer marks when drinking when you first put it on but nothing too extreme. My lips definitely feel moisturised for hours after application. Would definitely keep it in my bag around with me so I always have it do hand!

I love tinted lip balms so was excited to try the Watermelon shade. The packaging is attractive and robust enough to jostle around in my handbag without being damaged. When I took off the cap, the bullet had a delicate, sheer pink tint (pinker than actual watermelon though!) and upon application, the texture felt really nice. Not too thick or heavy but not too slippery either. It glides on easily! However, the colour is quite subtle - I guess 'cos Watermelon is closest to my natural lip colour? All I really had was the soft glossy appearance - which was nice, I just had hoped for stronger pigmentation. It smells lovely - fruity and summery! - but it doesn't last very long as the balm has only average staying power. I'd say 3-4 hours and then it fades and you need to reapply. Whilst it's on, it makes my lips feel soft and moisturised but it just not for long enough. Next time, I'd try a deeper, stronger shade - with a more noticable tint, it would be worth the regular re-application!

Love the smell and taste, you can really notice that it's watermelon. It's great at hydrating my lips and it leaves a wee pink shine which I love.

There isn't anything to dislike about this lip balm, however, there isn't much to shout about either - but that isn't a criticism. It is the typical Nivea lip balm which have always been created to a very high standard: providing caring and gentle support to dry lips, with added taste and a light covering of colour.

This is one of my favorite lip balms I have ever tried. I love the color of the packaging. I love how smoothly it glides on my lips. I love the smell of it. I love how soft and hydrated my lips feel like and I love the shine and tint it gives me! Seriously I cannot stop using it.
