OGX Purifying + Charcoal Detox Shampoo

Great for stripping colour build up, worked well as I needed a good shampoo to sort excess colour prior to recolouring

Personally I wouldn't purchase this again. It was a little more expensive than other brands but I didn't feel any difference in my hair when using it.

This shampoo sounds great but doesn't live up to the hype. I am a serial shampoo user and this one caught my eye because after being in the city I always feel like my hair is polluted, it feels course, greesy and grim, so this shampoo sounded like the perfect detoxifying remedy. When poured into the hand the shampoo is runnier than expected and unlike other charcoal products, instead of a deep black colour it has an odd shiny metallic grey. The scent is subtle but pleasant, with vague notes of coconut. It took quite a lot of shampoo and hard massage to get this to lather up to a suitably usable level of suds. It almost felt like it was sliding through and off my hair rather than working it. My hair was left feeling rather dry after using it, rather than detoxifying it felt like it had stripped my hair of all the good along with all the bad. There was no nice lingering fragrance to my hair and overall this was a disappointing product, especially at its price.

I have been using this product for a little over a month and Im not super impressed. Of course smell nice , but its does not work as it should

Its a good shampoo but im not sure about a charcoal detox. Makes my hair feel nice and fresh but it the same as most other shampoos. Worth a try but I don't think its going to be new favourite shampoo

I was very excited to try this shampoo as i have very greasy hair and wanted a shampoo to try out. However I needed to get a lot of shampoo to lather and it didn't make much of a difference to my hair. I will not be buying again

I love OGX products and always buy any new ranges that they bring out. I was really excited for this one as I have tried a charcoal shampoo from HASK which I really liked. It did not disappoint! I really liked its fragrance and the way it made my hair look and feel. My hair felt very smooth and very clean - there was no residue that some other shampoos leave. I really like this range and will definitely be purchasing it again.

Tried this product as I like the idea of giving my hair a detox, and a refresh, I like how clean it made my hair feel, and the shine is out of this world, I have recommend this product to my mum and sisters there going to try it out too

I love cgarvol on all products so this one was next on the list to try it out. As have oily hair charcoal shampoo is god send. Hair are glossy and shiny and definitely stay fresher for longer. Love it

I like this shampoo company when I saw a new type in the store, it bought it right away and I tried it the same day. It is super very pouring, it smells like hair is light after shampoo, I love it and recommend it

Anything made with charcoal calls my attention and this is no different. Love the colour and love how my hair feels clean, with no residues and hydrated.

I have very greasy hair and tried this to detox. Wow it made my hair so dry it was like straw. Not worth the money
