Easily and smoothly
It is fantastic solution I will never burn cord again! Iron go in the base smoothly and during you change position of ironing cloth it is charging. Steam button is located in handle - it is so clever! I don't see any disadvantage.

Freemove Quite Literally!
Tefal Freemove Air was a big improvement from my current wired iron. I was amazed by the cordless capabilities of the Tefal Freemove Air, which justifies its name - Freemove! I could freely move the iron, which was a blessing in disguise. The iron itself is very nice, and irons out the wrinkles pretty easily. I am totally in love with my new Tefal Freemove Air. 5 stars from me! *****

Lightweight and versatile
The freemove teal air is great if you want a light weight iron; from this aspect it does exactly what it says on the tin. The fact it is cordless is a real bonus, however, there is a red light that flashes when the iron needs to be put back on to the base and it seems to flash quite quickly which meant I was continually putting the iron back on to the base which increased the time it took me to iron. However, I must admit, not having to fight a cord and move it around the ironing board is a win. The iron itself doesn't seem to produce steam easily compared to my current iron and I must admit I did miss the amount of steam I am used to on thicker items such as jeans. However, I did try the iron as a hand held steamer on a thin cotton dress whilst it was hanging up and it worked wonders. There are some real pros and cons to this iron and it genuinely depends on your needs/preferences when using an iron but if light weight and cordless are a must...this is the iron for you.

Nice design, comfortable and functional
The high quality of the cordless iron, convenience in use, the heating system requires a slight adjustment in the ironing method compared to traditional ironing. It is great and meets my expectations.

Convenience through compromise
As someone who has to iron his clothes for work everyday, I like to think I have tried and tested a whole range of irons and steamers but they all had one thing in common, they are all corded. When I received the Tefal Freemove Air I was sceptical as to how effective a cordless iron would be. I was pleasantly surprised; it heated up quickly and pressed my uniform really well. The steam function is good and the water reservoir holds a decent amount, enough for my uniform and more. Obviously there is a compromise when going cordless and the time you have to use the iron before you have to replace the iron on the base requires more passes and less time on the garment each pass. However I can live with this if it means no wires getting stuck or tangled on the board. Overall a pretty decent product that doesn’t lose too much in the way of power and convenience through the compromise of being cordless.

Lightweight and easy to use
The Tefal Freemove Air iron is the best iron I have ever used. So light on the hand and easy to move around when you have a a lot to iron. One of the best features is when you move back to the base and the iron will start recharging!

OK but needs improvement
There are pro's and con's to this product. The design is nice and sleek and the performance in regards to unwrinkle the clothes was also good. The big con is that you have to put the product back on the base every 30 seconds to charge, which is quite inconvenient. Not sure if we did something wrong, but after reading the instructions a few times it seems like it was all correct. If it lasted a longer period without having to charge it would be great!

Good All round Easy To Use Iron
I found that this iron was so easy to use, I loved the fact it was cordless and it was light and easy to manoeuvre , my last iron was so heavy and it felt restrictive because of its weight. I like the way it feels on your hand its very easy to fill and it heats up very quickly, all these are of huge benefit to me as I found I used it more because of its ease of use. The selection of heat settings makes it easy to choose and I found I flew through the family ironing very quickly and easily as its less clunky than my usual iron and much easier to use. An everyday iron that is easy to use, easy to store away and I tried it on my ironing board and on my table top - both worked really well. My only criticism is it does beep when you don't return it to its cradle and can continue to do so. Its a reminder to return it to its base for charging and is a bit annoying as you are ironing. Other than that I really loved the performance of this nifty iron.

Fabulous lightweight Iron
The iron itself was much lighter than my other iron. It was very easy to assemble, you fill the chamber of water and place it in the holder, the iron itself heats up quite quickly and the light stops flashing when ready to use. The iron moves through creases as you would expect from Tefal, pressing the button gives you steam when required. At first it took me a few attempts to remember not to try and stand it on the ironing board (it won't stand up like that) so after I did that a few times I soon got used to it. Its extremely easy to use, having no cable means no getting tangled. This is a fabulous iron, highly recommend.

Fast and agile ironing
Very new technology for me, but very useful. The iron is well contoured to the hand. very cool transparent water tank housing, you can easily see the water level. Useful the light when the iron is heated to the right temperature and if it is well positioned in the station. The sound is neutral, not too noise so I can iron the laundry at night when the children are asleep.

Great idea but quite time consuming
Did not last for very long before it needed charging. Was quite time consuming to get through my weekly ironing pile.

Does exactly what it says on the box.
I loved the fact of how light it was and how versatile to use, the fact that it was cordless was so much more convenient and easier to use, heated up really quickly and each setting worked fantastic on each different garment, even got the husband using it lol, recommended it to both friends and family to buy if they were going to purchase a new iron.

Sadly not a winner in this house
As a family with young children our ironing pile is never ending, hence why I was so excited at receiving this iron. The iron itself is very sleek & light making it excellent to hold in your hand 7 manoeuvre. The charging station did fit the end of my ironing board in its existing iron holder, but only just as it is pretty big. The one and only negative which is huge for me is that it has to be returned to the charging station every 30 seconds and wait for the green light before carrying on. With me having a lot of 'small peoples' clothing that constantly needs to be repositioned, the 30 seconds just simply isn't enough. Once I had turned the clothes on the ironing board, the beeps were sounded before I had even done half a leg. It took me 45 to do perhaps just 4 or 5 things, whereas I normally get through a lot more than that. If Tefal could change this so that it held a good amount of charge, even 5 mins, it would be a winner in this house.

Was really disappointed
I was really optimistic about trying this product as I have spine & joint problems so it appealed for being light weight. This was pretty much its only good feature! The cordless design is great until you realise that you have to put it back onto the base for charging every 25-30 seconds meaning that I had to twist far more than usual during ironing to return the iron to its base unit. it cannot stand on its end so this is the only option. Waiting 11 seconds for the recharge massively increases the time it takes to complete your ironing - although I did discover how much wine can be drunk in those 11 seconds over a whole basket of ironing! HAHA. There is a steam function but to engage a constant steam flow you then have to squeeze a button at the same time as ironing - if you have joint problems in your hands this becomes uncomfortable very very quickly! overall - weight was great & the "cordlessness" handy but not worth the constant recharge & lack of steam without pushing a button
