Tefal Pro Express Protect

I am amazed, this is such a time saver. It's so easy to use and you don't even have to change any settings when changing materials. It really does leave all fabrics looking professionally cleaned. All of my items are completely crease free and it takes half the time to get through my ironing than it did prior to using this. The water tank seems to go on forever! The device is lightweight, ironing is so smooth and it glides with ease and I love that it is antibacterial, especially at the moment with the pandemic. I'm reassured that my clothes are germ free. It's delicate on all fabrics and I'm not afraid to use it on anything, it's passed all of my material tests! My favourite feature is the limescale collector, I have hard water so this really does go a long way and I have noticed a big difference. I strongly recommend this to anyone and everyone who either has limescale, is looking for a professional finish or simply wants to cut down the hours they spend ironing. You won't regret it!

Firstly, the iron cords stow away nicely, and with the carry lock it is easy and tidy to move around. The removeable tank is very handy, as having to pour water into past steam generators has been very fiddly! The iron itself is a little heavy, and it looks sleek and modern. You can't stand the iron up on it's end whilst repositioning clothes though, so you have to make sure the water tank is in a suitable place. The steam cord is quite thick, so can get in the way, but I've found this with others. The iron has a limescale collector that you just pull out and rinse - very easy! The results themselves are absolutely brilliant! The one thing I haven't got used to yet is the fact that there are no settings - it knows how much heat/steam to give each fabric, and that has me worried every time, though I haven't had an issue yet! I have really enjoyed using this iron, and it has definitely shaved time from my ironing routine. I can't help but feel that the price tag is slightly high though.

When I received the package I couldn't believe how big it was and I got worried. When I opened it I was very relieved that it was very presentable and not hard to handle. How did I get so lucky to be chosen to review this beauty?! I was so happy. I set it up quite quickly after reading instructions which were very clear supported by pictures. Did I just read that I can use tap water? That was great as I always had to filter water before I filled my "old" iron. No drama. The iron is very light and easy to use. Great with all fabrics I ironed. My husband's shirt was ready in 1 minute. It is indeed a very powerful product. First place on a list for me. I think I gained a new friend and I don't want to change it for nothing else. Ironing a pile of clothes took me literally 30 minutes instead of usual 2 hours. Unbelievable! Thank you Home Tester Club for introducing me to Pro Express Protect by Tefal. This is really a time saving and the strongest iron/steamer that I know.

Where have you been all my life? What an Incredible iron!! Easy to setup, quality feel and simple to use. Incredibly quick and efficient. Powerful yet does not feel heavy or bulky. All you will ever need!

A fantastic iron from Tefal which does exactly what it says on the tin and more. Easy to use and it provides fantastic results. I cannot recommend this iron highly enough.

This product change my life honestly! I'm a busy mum, my bins for laundry were always full as I never have time to finish ironing with my previous iron. Didn't think the iron would be good as doesn't have temperature control to use for different fabrics but I was really surprised none of the clothes got burnt as somehow the iron recognises ("by magic" as my husband says) what material is & irons it to a perfect finish! I managed to whizz through my ironing in almost half the time than I would've with my regular iron giving me more time to go & play with the children in the garden & enjoy the lovely sunshine that we're having recently! This iron is perfect for my needs. There is not one thing I dislike about this iron. It provides fast and efficient ironing, with powerful steam. The ability to use it vertically, has meant that I can iron material blinds and curtains in the house. I can also quickly go over dresses and shirts without getting the ironing board out. The fact that it sanitises the clothes during use is also a bonus during these times. My little girl starts school in September and I will now be looking forward to ironing her uniforms. Living in a hard water area the anti-scaling system will be prefect as the iron gets more and more use. Fantastic.

Although the whole thing was quite heavy, the iron part was light and had a lot of power behind it. The eco setting was great for the majority of my clothes, but for heavier items, the normal setting was great.

This is honestly hands down the best iron I have ever got to try. Gets all the creases out and has cut down my time ironing dramatically. Having 4 children and myself and hubby to iron for takes a lot of time getting through my ironing pile but this iron has really helped reduce my time spent ironing. Absolutely love it and I highly recommend

I've never used a steam iron before so I didn't have much expectation. Friends have told me how simple and effective theirs were. I can tell you that this Tefal Pro Express totally exceeded my expectations. It is so simple to use. Literally one button to turn it on and its intelligence will adjust the temperature and steam pressure according to the fabric. Just fill the base with clean water and let the system warm up. The long cord easily reaches the ironing board from the floor up. The lightweight iron effortlessly glides over the clothes and a simple squeeze of the trigger releases a whoosh of steam. I was a sceptic to begin with but I can't stop talking about my amazing steam iron. Now when I grab any of my steam ironed clothes from the cupboard, they feel and smell as if they've been professionally launder. I was worried that the steam would leave my clothes damp and musty, but they're absolutely crisp and sanitised. I can't wait for laundry day!

This is the best steam generator iron that I have ever had the pleasure of trying, it heats up in 2 minutes and has an impressive 1.8ltr water tank capacity. There's different settings that are easy to use, the only problem I have is that when wrapping the cord inside, it doesn't really fit so sticks out. Other than that, it's worth buying, thank you.

Have been using this a while now really pleased with the use, Wonderful piece of equipment sails through the ironing!. it heats up really quickly. My ironing time is now just over half the time I spent with a ‘normal’ iron. Really enjoy this steam iron and the results are superb, even on the most crumpled bed linen. It irons beautifully, would highly recommend
