Tefal Pro Express Ultimate+ GV9611

Overall this iron is fantastic. The water lasts for ages considering the steam it is busting out. I was a bit disappointed that it still didn't get deap creases out of some of my husbands shirts, where they had been tucked in his trousers, i had quite high hopes for that. The smart setting is amazing, self adjusting to the fabric you're ironing, I was a bit wary with my silky blouses but it sailed over them no problem, straight after ironing jeans. The fact that you only need to iron one side of most items is amazing and that is where I found it saved most time. T-shirts, trousers, pillowcases etc, didn't need turning over to do the other side as with my conventional iron. I did look it up online and found it rather pricey for an iron. It costs more than my new washing machine, not so sure its worth that much. I would definitely struggle to go back to a conventional steam iron though. The amount of steam it emits is amazing, a little loud but not an issue for me.

Tefal Pro Express Ultimate+ is fantastic to use and it looks good too. This iron easily glides on the fabric so it makes ironing very easy and enjoyable. I cut down amount of time I spend ironing. Powerful steam and is great for vertical steam ironing as well. It's the best iron I have used. I would recommend it to everyone.

This is a great product! Its lightweight which is great if you have to iron a lot of items, heats up quickly, has good steam and gets creases out easily. The tank lasts for a long time. If you are looking for a good quality/good value steam generator iron then I recommend you buy this!!

Item was excellent at iron and steaming, machine was noisy steam wise and boiling, seems overpriced though

Before I had this steam generating iron, I used a standard one. This is a huge upgrades. The Tefal ironing tool is incredible. With three kids at home, I’ve spent hours of my days ironing and was tired of it. Now, with this amazing steam iron the job is quick and easy. The powerful steam allows it to iron just one side of the piece of clothing instead of both. Before, ironing cotton curtains was a nightmare. With the Tefal GV9611 curtains are so simple to iron, the pain of having to iron them is gone. The large water tank is very helpful. User guide is simple and clear so the iron is very easy to use. I can change mode with one button. The iron has a couple options for the different things you’d be ironing, such as: MAX, DELICATE and NORMAL, with ECO and a very helpful SMART mode. The one thing I dislike is the size. However, this is a small compromise if you think about all that you’re getting here. Plus, the design is very modern and nice-looking, so it can just stay out in the open.

I have tested this iron for a week. I was very pleased with it. I experienced good and not too good things, but overall this is still the best steam iron what I ever used. I thing it is quite noisy, and the base bottom becomes hőt, but I put it on the ironing board anyway those are my only concerns. The water tank can be removed easily so I could take it directly to the sink to fill up, But Used filtered water. It is huge, 1.9 litre, so I did not need to fill up more times. Less than a tank was enough for a huge amount of clothes ( 3 children and 2 adult).The iron to base lock makes the full unit easy to carry and convenient to store. The steam tube is quite long what is great, and the pressure is high, so my newborn daughter's clothes could be "steriliside". The iron and the base are quite heavy together, but the iron itself is only 1.1kg.

I love this wonderful wonderful piece of kit. I want to get my 2 negatives out of the way first. So my 2 issues found are to do with the steam cable.1.it was a bit short and. 2. The other was it got hot very very quickly. Apart from that this iron was amazing. I love it. Steam created was automatic most of the time and was the perfect amount required with minimum effort needed in your ironing. It has a very handy clip so you can lock your iron on to the steam generator. And either carry it where you need it or stop it from just slipping when ironing. It also has a calcium collector, this is amazing if you are like me and live in a hard water area. ALL in all I would reccomend this iron to anyone. She in now my ironing egg

Since using the Tefal Pro Express Ultimate+ GV9611 my whole ironing game has changed! I usually dread my 5/6 load of weekly ironing as I use to fi d it so time consuming and hard- since using the new Tefal steam generator I actually really enjoy ironing! Its become almost a hobby as its sooo easy! The steam power is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE, what use to take me over 4 hours to iron now gets done in an hour! The iron itself if very light weight and doesnt tire your arm. The powerful steam cuts through even the toughest of creases. I cant believe how much time I am now saving a week! The steam generator itself is very sleek looking- its very easy to use and to change the temperature settings (automatic- low- medium-high) is done by one simple button. You even have an option to have turbo steam which means that you can cut through deep creases without minimum effort. The heat up is very fast- it only takes several seconds after plugging in and its ready to go! Water tank is a great size!

The best steam iron on a market right now. I could very easy iron even the linen shirts. Perfect for dresses and suits. We'll recommended. Iron Is bulid that way that You can easily iron between small buttons. Power of steam is amazing specially for gourmets with descriptions of no iron.

Superb steam machine! Upon first impressions the iron is pleasing to look at with its sleek modern design. It’s functionality is amazing, easy, light and comfortable to hold. Each setting is tailored for specific items of clothing by the touch of a button. The smart function is perfect quickness as it adjusts to whatever fabric it contacts meaning the right amount of steam is used. The eco function isn’t as powerful meaning it takes a little longer per item of clothing. The water tank has a great capacity and doesn’t run down too quickly and the anti calc system means you don’t get limescale spitting onto clothing which can result in staining. Only negative is the power cord cable. For the price point I would like to have seen a retractable cord for easy storage as it’s a bit tricky to get back into the space given at the base of the iron. Overall it is a great steam iron making life easier saving time and water usage.

I was pleasantly surprised to notice how much the time spent ironing reduced while using the Tefal Pro Express Ultimate GV9611. It's a good model that heats up steam quickly and has different settings for modes - for example normal, delicate, eco and smart. I liked the smart mode the best however at times the steam seemed a bit excessive. I find the steam button is too handy, when I ironed in normal mode sometimes I accidentally pressed steam when lifting the iron. The length between the base and the iron is very good and sufficient but the cord length to the plug is way too short. All in all I do love how Tefal made ironing so much quicker and smart mode works 90% of the time, but there are a couple of things I would definitely recommend to change in the specification like cord length and reducing maximum length of steam in smart mode.

I can’t praise this product enough!! I have a massive ironing pile every few days between my nusring uniforms and partner and childrens clothes. This Iron has genuinely halved my ironing time and has left our clothes looking pristine! Thank you Tefal! Highly recommended 😃

An excellent way to halve ironing time. The Tefal Pro Express is so easy to use, heats up really fast, and the smart setting is a very clever and useful tool-no need to adjust temperature when ironing different fabrics. The iron itself is very lightweight but has made easy work of every crease I have thrown at it. I have used other steam generators in the past, but this is far superior. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to anyone, I love it!
