A Gentle Mineral Sunscreen
The Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 has been such a reliable addition to my morning skincare routine. As someone with dry, sensitive, and redness-prone skin, finding a sunscreen that hydrates and protects without irritation has always been a challenge—but this product really delivers. It’s a 100% mineral formula with zinc oxide, which I usually find drying or hard to blend, but this one is impressively creamy and moisturizing. The texture feels like a lightweight lotion and absorbs fairly well without leaving a heavy or greasy residue. There is a slight white cast at first (typical of mineral sunscreens), but it fades quickly as you blend, especially when applied over a damp base or serum. I love how it calms my skin instead of aggravating it. The prebiotic oat and feverfew help reduce my redness and keep my skin feeling soothed throughout the day, even under makeup. It doesn’t pill or sting my eyes either, which is a big win for me.

Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer Mineral Sunscreen is great for my sensitive skin—it calms and hydrates while giving me sun protection. It goes on a bit thick at first, but it settles nicely and doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

I keep this product in my beach bag at all times I used it for two years now it doesn’t break out my skin or make my skin dry and protects it from the sun. Win win.

great for eczema
The Aveeno Calm and Restore line is the best thing to use if you have eczema on the eyelids no after 2 days the itchiness and dryness was gone. I use it on my kids as well and I would definitely recommend to anyone that has skin.

This is a great product for all skin types! I have very sensitive skin and moisturizers can break my skin out badly but this one hasn’t!

Thank you, Aveeno and Home Tester Club, for letting me test out the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer. I enjoyed the last few days of hot sunny weather here this season and gave this sunscreen a full run for its money. This product is formulated for Sensitive Skin, which I fully appreciate. It goes on super smoothly and feels light on my skin. The application process is very simple. I found that it is extremely gentle on my sensitive skin. It seems to calm my skin and remove redness. It does not leave a sticky aftermath, which I also greatly appreciate. The SPF 30 sunblock proved effective against the sun's harshest rays. I tried to reapply every 30 minutes or so to maintain coverage. I like how easy this product is to use and how gentle it is on my skin. I don't love that it contains titanium dioxide as this is an ingredient I am trying really hard to avoid in my life, but it seems to be in all sunscreens. I will buy more of this product and I totally recommend it to others.
