Definitely not for me.
I’ve used other texturizing powders in the past and have found the results to be great. Unfortunately that was not the case with Magic Dust. My hair is on the thinner side of average but I have a lot of it, so creating volume is usually pretty easy with a little back teasing and some texturizing powder, with this product though it just made my hair sticky and stiff. I decided to try it a second time but the results were the same. Additionally this was the most difficult product I’ve had to remove from my hair. I washed it with regular shampoo twice, conditioner once, dried my hair and it was still a sticky mess. I had to wash it three additional times before it was completely out. Maybe it is just my hair, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know to find out. On the upside the packaging is nice and doesn’t have a strange or offensive odor.

Invisible on dark hair
I have solid black curly hair. I had no problem with this texturizing powder showing. It blended in nicely and was invisible when I worked it in. I recently got a inverted bob cut and the powder kept my hair nice and styled all day.

It really is magic!
After years of washing my hair every day, I’ve created quite a bit of damage. At my stylist’s recommendation, I’ve built up my tolerance (and ends) to every 3 days. No small feat! I decided to use this product along with dry shampoo and my word! I’m a believer. I was comfortably able to go 5 days and keep my style by adding this product to my haircare routine. The product is buildable, but trust me- a little goes a long way! Volume for days along with soft, touchable results. I’ve used Aveda’s version of this product and never had results like this. The price is right and the product is amazing! This product really is magic!!

Never seen anything like this!!
This product is incredible! I've never used anything like this! I simply parted my hair amd applied to my roots, then worked it in to my scalp. It absorbs any oil that is already there and adds amazing body and texture! It also keeps my hair looking fresh and clean! It's scent its awesome and it has a nice cooling effect on contact. I love this product!

Not a fan- makes my hair feel dirty
I have pretty thick hair, but I am interested in products that add a bit of volume to my roots. I liked that this product can be used a few ways and gives ideas on the packaging. The bottle is cute and aesthetically pleasing. Cons are that I do not like the smell at all. It’s extremely strong and not pleasant. The smell stays too and doesn’t diminish over time that much. I also hate the way it feels in my hair. It made my hair feel extremely dirty- like a gritty, sticky feeling. It did give me some volume though. Overall I wouldn’t purchase this.

Need texture or volume? You got it
I used it on my roots to add style and volume. It lifted my roots as wanted making my hair look even fuller and thicker. I just found to make sure you brush your hair aftwr applying or it gets a weird texture almost like hard and tangled. Other than that i liked it and it did what it was suppose to do. This would be great on updos or braids or buns ir dreads. Would definitely hold and add texture. I would recommend mainly for short hair that you style it would work great on short styled hair. Also recommend for people who do updos or braids this would do wonders.

Magic Dust Texturizing Powder
I really like the Hairitage Magic Dust Texturizing Powder. It smells nice and really adds texture to your hair. I'm pretty new to using texturizing powder and ending up using too much product the first time around. It works better if I shake some powder into my hands and work into my hair rather than shaking it straight into my hair. I ended up using too much in a small area the first time. Practice makes perfect, because the next time worked well. Can I also just say I love the feel of the packaging. It's so soft and I love the embossed text.

Literally magic dust!
What the heck is this stuff anyway?! I have no idea, and I’ve never used anything like it- but it’s amazing. Flat, thin, dull, lifeless, tired hair? Sprinkle some of this magic dust at your roots and scrunch them up. Finger-comb through hair for beefed up texture. Smooth all over to dull second-day grease build-up. It really is a dust that just disappears in your fingers, leaving only texture behind. The fact that it does it without harsh chemicals or animal cruelty only makes me love it more. I do take issue with the claim that it’s “odorless.” It is scented, quite heavily in fact. It’s very powdery and perfume-y smelling. If they backed down on the scent some, I would use it every single day!

Love Magic Dust!
I have very long straight hair and have trouble keeping braids or hair bands in my hair, they just slide right out. Hairitage Magic Dust absolutely worked magic. I had no trouble with braids and I also used it for a lift at my roots and it worked great.

Perfect for me.
The texturizing powder is perfect for me. It not only adds texture and is invisible to very fine hair but it also allows my hair to blend seamlessly when I'm also using my extensions. I love my side ponytails fishtail braid and it adds a lot of texture that I really cannot get with just teasing my hair. I don't notice any sons and I will say that there is a lot of product in the size bottle that I got.

Better than hairspray, gel and moose.
These are better than hair gel, hairspray and hair moose combined. I have never had so much body lasting as long in my hair. With this magic dust texturizing powder you can create any hair design and it will last all day and night. I will never go with out this dust ever again. When applying it to the hair it has a cooling effect on the scalp must feels very comforting, it does not have any scent to it. It is almost like concrete for your hair. It immediately sets your hair as you pour it on it. You also do not see the powder it vanishes.

Amazing
I was chosen to to try the magic dust texturizing powder. It’s instructed for a pick me up before heading out or to refresh hair. As a busy mom of 3 boys , my time is precious. I used the powder on a day after my shower. When my hair was borderline greasy . It provided volume and decreased the shine. Absorbing the scalp grease. In a way it makes it a tad . Not even a problem stiff but it’s actually perfect because it creates manageability to my hair after I apply it. I love it not to mention the smell is amazing and super light.
