iHome AutoVac Nova

I enjoyed trying out this ihome Autovac Nova. PROS: Dust collection port is easy to remove & the included brush makes getting rid of the debris easier, great suction power, no having to lug out a heavy vacuum cleaner, Autovac doesn't hit furniture/objects hard = no damage, like that it has a remote as not everyone has a smartphone/want to be bothered w/ an app, noise level is minimal (less than most upright vac's), like that it can mop too (only good for surface/minimal grime only). CONS: couldn't get this vac connected to the app as it only works on 2.4 G network (not 5 G) so I had to call the brand for assistance, directions on vac are too vague/confusing (they need to spend time showing close up pic's on how to set up vacuum & give info on where to go if you have connection issues, I found no place in book that tells you name/model # you will need to order replacement parts of dust bags/filters or where to get them. Doesn't include the 2 AAA batteries needed to use remote.

I absolutely love the iHome AutoVac Nova. I was not expecting the level of cleanliness from the vacuum, but the suction was powerful, and my floors looked vacuumed. I also like that I can control it from the remote or from the app. I was not able to use the mop features, but I am confident that I will have similar results.

This is a product that every household should own regardless if you love technology or not. I have pets and this is a great in-between cleaning item that helps out throughout the day.

I more than impressed by the features & quality of my iHome Autovac Nova. The vacuum has a system called “Lidar.” This allows the vacuum to take a virtual model of your entire living space & create a map on the app in REAL TIME! The entire floor plan will show up on the app on your smart device once it is complete its cycle. There are not extra parts to buy to build a “virtual wall.” The Nova is smart enough to follow orders. Once the cleaning is complete, the device navigates back to the dock to charge. The docking station is also a vacuum collector. The vacuum backs up to the base & the internal bag engages to empty your Nova. An extra sweeper for the front, an extra filter, dust collector bag. Most intelligent device, it can run b/w 2 chairs. This thing picks up dust, pet hair, dirt. Now for the “Piece de Resistance!” It has a built-in chamber for water so it can MOP! The Autovac Nova has a mopping feature. It will spray the floor & trace behind with a mop attachment

This product is awesome. It picks up all the debris on the rug and bare laminate floors. It maps the rooms and you can designate areas not to go to. It seems to have a methodical way of cleaning and not just haphazardly roaming like other robot vacuums. I like the dust collecting feature so once it is full it returns to base and empties out and then goes back out. I vary good vacuum.

Overall the machine does a great job with vacuuming. I have not been able to set it up to mop only my ceramic tile. I do not believe it would be the best choice to use on my hardwood floors. The only downside I have found is if you move any furniture it seems to have a difficult time vacuuming around it on the next cleaning cycle. It has cut down on the amount of cleaning I need to do with my regular sweeper; once a week to do between furniture is all.

Absolutely amazing product! Works just as well, if not better, than the name brand at a fraction of the price! Worth every penny and does exactly what its meant to!

Set up of the ihome autovac was simple, and it is extremely easy to use. The lights on the front tell you if everything is good or if you it needs charged or there's an issue. I was skeptical that this thing would be able to clean my floors as well as it does. When I empty the bin, I am shocked at all the stuff in there! The app is very nice as well, I love that I can block off certain parts of the house from being vaccumed. This thing is extremely smart, and heavy duty. I have rabbits and kids, and this thing is a rockstar in my house. I would recommend this to anyone, and I'm thinking of getting another one for the other half of the house, that's how much I love this thing.

This product helps to clean your house even when your remote. The auto clean function is a good feature that comes along in this vacuum. You can run it on a schedule and be tension free to come to a mess free and clean home.

This robovac definitely has some pros and cons. The vacuum meneuvers very well and doesn't bump into walls and objects too hard. The suction is just OK. I'll use it for in-between big cleanings. It's also very loud which surprised me a bit. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to map out my floors which leads me to the app. It's not overly intuitive so there's a lot if trial and error. When the vac is done or needs to be charged it goes to its base to empty the dirt into a bag inside the base. So you don't have to empty the vac by hand and get all dusty.

OMG this vacuum is a life saver! I never had a robotic vacuum before and it changed my life. It vacuums and mops and goes where ever it's needed during the day. The kids room, the pet room, any room that's programmed to go except for the one "no go" area I have set up. It empties itself, it has the best suction I've ever seen in a vacuum. Sucks up pet food and kid stuff, all the crud they all drag through the house. It was so easy to set up and I'm not good with computerized stuff but it was easy. It also comes with a remote so when my mom wants to use it, she can just turn it on with the remote and doesn't have to use the app. It's also pretty quiet. The dogs haven't freaked out at all when it's turned on, well not from the noise. It is funny to watch them follow it around the house. My kids think we have a "real" robot in the house now. I love this vacuum and will definitely show my friends how awesome it is.

The iHome AutoVac Nova did an excellent job cleaning my carpets. It has a strong suction that was able to collect even things I couldn't see. On my hardwood floors, it seemed to push some of the debris around instead of sucking it up, but it still did a decent job. Overall, I was happy with the AutoVac Nova.

This is my first time trying a robot vacuum. I have always wanted to try one but heard mixed reviews about their performance. THIS THING IS SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! For busy households like ours, this is a godsend. While it doesn't pick up every single thing, especially around the baseboards, it still does a wonderful job. This is a fantastic supplement to my regular, thorough cleaning schedule. Will I still use our regular vacuum? Yes, definitely. It picks up loose hair, crumbs, and dirt, but can't get deep down to pick up pet hair that has been stepped on repeatedly, for example. The performance of this vacuum is better than expected. It maps out your house with ease and tackles everyday, light cleaning. I love that I can control it with a remote. I can just push play and it starts right up! I can also set a cleaning schedule if I desire to have it clean certain rooms at certain times. Setup was much, MUCH easier than expected. It connected to our wifi with no issues. I LOVE IT!!!!

This little vacuum is a game changer. I am very impressed with the ease of use and the app. Upon first use the Nova vacuumed and mapped my 2000 square foot ranch home. It take about 90 minutes to complete, but she is pretty quite so I don't even notice her working her magic. The spot clean option is a great feature. When my kids make a mess I can send the Nova to the rescue. She cleans up all of the dust and crumbs before returning to the auto dust collection station. I do nothing! The mop feature is also a game changer. Fill the tank with water and she is off. I dint the mopping to be very effective after a vacuum cycle. She does need time to charge in between but it is a great and easy way to maintain my Luxury Vinyl Floors. I'm sold in the IHome AutoVac Nova!

I was very surprised by how great this vacuum worked. I love the fact that it talks to you. That's really cool. I think it's great has a mop in it to. It knows where to go and go around things great. Has wheels to climb over carpets which I have to. So amazing this product. I would definitely recommend this .
