JUST Egg Plant Based Egg

I had some difficulties figuring out how to get it cooked initially but soon after it started turning out it was great. I will say the taste is just just okay by itself but when paired with some seasoning such as simply black pepper and salt along with cheese it tastes amazing! I love how quick and easy it was to make.

It's a good egg alternative if you are not into eggs. Used it for breakfast sandwiches, scrambled eggs, and a number of egg substitutes for recipes.

This product is awesome. I was skeptical at first but it actually tasted like eggs. I’m not missing no flavor but I’m giving up the negative affects of real eggs. Great product

I was surprised by how real it looks compared to a real egg. Of course it is not an egg, so it does not give you the same fried and char texture a real egg gives you. I also think it is best to be used as stir-fried egg instead of an omelet, since as an omelet the texture is more spongy and not as dense as the real egg, but when it is cooked as fried or scrambled, it is hard to tell the texture difference since it is broken into smaller pieces. It lacks the protein smell of a cooked egg, which is kind of a turn-off. It is definitely way more expensive than real eggs,and as a product that is created to be environmentally friendly, I don't understand the purpose of designing such a small plastic bottle. It would make more sense if it had a bigger size bottle to contain more volume and reduce plastic use, since right now one bottle of this can only cook sam ethe portion of 3-4 eggs.

I hate plant based foods but decided to try this. Its disgusting.

Just Egg is a great product. While I have a hard time sticking to the small amount per serving (per the label), it is a great option for sandwiches, scrambles and omelets. I have not used it in baking. Yesterday I made a scramble with vegan chorizo and green vegetables and made a side of home fries. It was excellent.

I tried using this in soup and it doesn't form into solids like an egg. It would basically disperse and make a watery soup, look ugh, and taste blah. However, it works well when I make an omelet. The shape forms but don't expect it to smell aromatic.

Trying to eat more vegan options, I've tried a lot of different plant-based egg substitutes. JUST Egg is by far the best one I've ever had. It tastes, cooks, and looks just like real eggs. When I went vegan I was fine with never eating eggs again. I’ve never been a huge egg person, so I just didn’t care that much about never eating them again. I saw a few people buying these and was very surprised when they said you could make scrambled eggs with them. I bought the product because I just didn’t believe that could be true, and was shocked! They really do cook and act just like eggs! That’s not all you can use Just Egg for, though. I’ve used it in desserts that require eggs, including lemon bars. They cook just as regular eggs do in baking, and I’ve had no problem in any of the recipes I’ve used them in.

We all love eggs for breakfast but when we try this one we sad not for everyone. Taste was almost like a rubber and it's just feels wrong. Wouldn't recommend it

I tried the JUST Egg Plant Based Egg and was pleasantly surprised by how good it tastes. The texture is similar to real eggs, and it's a great vegan alternative. The only downside is that it tends to stick to the pan, so I have to be careful when cooking it. Overall, a great product.

I am a long time vegan. When my husband and I first moved in together I put an end to him cooking eggs in our kitchen. I absolutely cannot stand the smell, taste, texture basically every part of eggs. He has been absolute heaven with this product. Truthfully, it smells and tastes so much like actual scrambled eggs I wanted to tell him no way, but I just did not think that would be fair. He absolutely loves "fooling" friends who thought that they were eating scrambled eggs and then telling them it's vegan.
