First let me say I think this is a great idea and would most likely work for some people who would not care for the following: 1. in most states if not all - it is against the law to carry medication with you that is not in the specific bottle it came in 2. For Senior Citizens and those who have Arthritic Hands this bottle is basically going to be too hard for them to open. 3. Its hard to sync to your booth tooth device and once you get it synced if you open the bottle again it unsync's itself and you have to resync it again. It stays on your paired device list, but once you look into your devices under booth tooth, it is no longer sync'd and when you click on the device it states that the device is not found. So now that I have used this for a few day, will I continue to use it, at least for a while.. mostly likely yes, as I have it on my work desk and the only thing that I find useful is.. the cap blinks when it is time for you to take your meds ... however-ran out of typing space

Between me and my husband, we both have several medicines that we have to take on a daily basis. There is times when we get so busy between running errands and getting busy with our daily routines that we forget to take a dose of medicine. With Medikyu those missing doses will be a thing of the past. Downloading the app was easy, its not too hard to understand and get set up. After you sync the bottle with the app you can easily start typing in your medicine and chose from a list and set a time that you need to take the medicine. When it is time to take your medicine it will make an alarm sound and flash blue and it sends a notification to your phone to let you know that it is time to take your medicine. I recommend this to anyone who takes medicine and has a hard time remembering to take them. This is definitely a product that I can and will purchase for me and my husband. I received the product as a sample from MediKyu brand site & opinion is my own.

I absolutely love that the Medikyu charges like a cell phone. I received it and immediately liked the way the cap looked. I am on meds and so I downloaded the app. With no issues. I love being reminded to not miss any dosages of my medication. It is all very easy to understand and I think that the elderly would most benefit from this product. Installing the app would have to be done by friends or family for some of the elderly. Other than that, this is a wonderful product! No more wondering if I took my meds or not. I am going to buy one for my Grandmother. I will teach her how to use it. Love this product.

This Medikyu smart pill bottle is excellent! This smart pill bottle is very easy to set up with just downloading the app. The smart pill bottle comes fully charged so after setting up the app it is ready to use. The smart pill bottle also comes with a charging cable. In the app you can set up which vitamins, supplements or medicines you are taking and you can set the time and dose for the reminders. In this app you can also view your dose history. You will get automatic alerts and reminders at the time you set up so you can’t forget to take your medicine. It also monitors how often you took or missed your dose. As a busy mom it sometimes slips my mind to take my vitamins and prescriptions and ever since using this smart pill bottle I haven’t missed a dose. I get the reminder and can track my information with the app on my phone or tablet. This is a wonderful solution to the problem of taking medication on time. I really recommend this!

What a great idea, finally something that ensures you take your medicine . This is so easy to use, download the app, enter your medications and when you take them. Pair with your phone, insert your pill bottle into it, or pour your pills into it if you want.Set what type of reminders you want and you can also send alerts to another person if you want. The app will send you an alert if you missed your does, took it when you shouldn't have. I no longer need to worry if I missed a dose , this is the bets product for anyone who takes medications

This is a very good solution for the loved one to make sure that they are taking medicine on time. I tried to help my dad and set up this device to monitor whether he is taking medicine on time or not. I was really surprised when I found out that he indeed missed his medicine a few time. I set up an alert for myself and called him to remind about the medicine. This is a very good solution and the best gift for him.

I really like using this app and the pill bottle equally. The app is very easy to set up and very easy to understand. The bottle is pretty big and the cap is is easy to push , turn and open. The bright blue ring on top of the cap is very easy to notice. I really love how i am reminded to take my meds on time daily. The app also has a scoring system on how well i do at taking my meds on time. This is so helpful and makes a gigantic difference when it comes time to take my meds.

Medikyu has been a blessing in reminding me to take my medicine. I haven’t missed a single dose yet, whereas before using it I most likely would’ve missed. I wouldn’t go back to using without it.

The concept of this device is great, but not as helpful. I can say that I am computer savvy, therefore I would say pairing the device with the app took a very long time as the device was not discoverable just after many tries. The app was installed on my phone very easily, but is useless. Once the device is all installed, what is does is flashing at the timeset taking the medication. There is no audio alarm coming from the phone to remind you that a med needs to be taken. Overall I think this device is nice, but we can live without it as it does not really help in reminders of thanking medications or counting how many times the meds were missed to be taken. You can count the remaining pills, knowing how many you missed. Also the orange pill container does notmatch with the orange container size used by the pharmacy. All the pills had to be transferred in the Medikyu device from the paharmacy container.

I take alot of different medications and I have a hard time remembering when I should take each one. This medikyu has made my life so much simpler it sends a reminder to me when I have to take my meds and I also know if I already taken my dose if I forget that I already took it.

I like the product. I does remind me when to take my medicine. If you have more than one medication than you do have to buy additional bottles to use this product though. Using the app is a little tricky though

Really nice and effective product, especially when you have kids and you take care of elderly relatives who need even more care than thew kids, a person is prone to forget or be a little be late with the medication. Medikyu eliminates the stress of constantly having to check if it is time to take the pill. You receive the reminders and the problem is solved. I definitely recommend it.
