Better than what I can make.
This is my go to always. Add some ritz crackers and it’s the perfect lunch. It’s very creamy has noticeable potatoes and clams. The spicy version is also very good
Tastiest Taste of New England!
LOVE this soup! I would definitely recommend this soup to any fan of clam chowder. As a native New Englander I can appreciate this flavor and the convenience of preparation.
Thick Creamy Chowder and…nothing
Preperation/cooking was simple, straight forward, quick, and easy. This is a perfectly passable average clam chowder. Flavor wise it is tasty enough but wouldn’t say it’s a bold, inspiring offering. Being borderline bland and lacking any strong flavors, felt it needed more oomph or bite to improve the taste, possibly more pepper. The large amount/portion of cream used in the chowder, especially in comparison to the other ingredients is distracting. The cream chowder base is very thick, kinda too thick for my liking. The chowder was just so thick overpowering the textures, other ingredients, and any other flavors that could have been experienced. The “chunky” chowder only possessed small cut potato cubes and very small shredded portions of clam meat. I would have liked more clam meat and bigger thicker chunks. I didn’t observe any other ingredients other than that. Overall its good enough to have on hand if nothing else to eat.
Always hits the spot!
This is always a great choice when you don’t want to go through the trouble of making a whole pot of soup for yourself. It has a great flavor without being overly fishy, creamy and thick chowder texture, and a good mix of ingredients with delicious chunks of potatoes. Always a go to for me!!
Pretty good Clam Chowder!
This soup is nice and thick. It has a great flavor and texture. Wonderful with some sourdough on a cold winter day! I highly recommend this soup.

A Cozy Clam Chowder
Our family enjoys the Progresso New England Clam Chowder Soup often, but especially during the cold months. The soup always has a balanced mix of potatoes and clam pieces mixed in the creamy sauce. We sometimes add a little milk when heating it on the stovetop, and it is always a delicious addition to our suppers!
Great quick option for clam chowder
I love me some clam chowder and this brand is great especially if your in a hurry. Easy to open, read instructions and heat then just wait and eat seems easy enough for a soup
