The components of the shave set allow for an excellent shaving experience.  The pre-shave oil conditions your skin prior to the shave.  The shave soap is very thick and only a small amount is needed to achieve a smooth shaving result.  The after-shave balm leaves your skin refreshed.  I really like the fact that all the components are unscented and therefore will not interfere with any after-shave or cologne I may apply.

I’ve never used a brush in my shaving routine before, but now that I have I’m not going back. This brush is obviously made with high quality materials, makes applying shaving cream easy, and distributes it on my face evenly and is easy to rinse and dry. It’s nice to be able to use shaving cream without getting my hands covered in it.

Previous to testing this kit, I was a simple shaving cream and razor shaver. This kit changed my idea of what how enjoyable the shaving experience can be.  The pre-shave Oil softens both the skin and the facial hair to get it ready for an easy shave. I enjoyed the clean and smooth shave I was able to get using all of these items combined. From the pre shave to the aftershave balm, each of them do the job perfectly. My job requires me to shave every day (military), and I can honestly say that these items are the best I have tried in 26 years of service!

The Art of Shaving Brush is top quality.  The handle and bristles are made for sturdy and allow for an application of rich lather. The brushes of this quality usually cost much more.

Awesome Brush!

Brush feels solid. Need to apply a little bit of pressure in order to get the shave cream to foam up. Bristles do not fall out in the process of applying, rinsing, and drying which is a huge plus.

I recently tried out the Art of Shavings shave brush and it was a pleasant experience. This is an entry level brush in the world of wet shaving. It did lather up well and was comfortable to use so I would say based on looks and functionality I would definitely recommend this brush to all my friends.

It a good brush for the money

Never applied my shaving cream or foam with a brush before. This tool totally helps to improve any shaving technique while covering every spot easily.  It did not hold any smell or gets hard after dry.

I'm really not used to using a shaving brush because I have not needed to use one. So I'm still getting used to using one.

It's ok

Prior to this, I had never used a brush. If you follow the instructions and use the brush with warm water to apply the cream - you will feel the difference. It lathers up so well and the bristles help soften the facial hair. The shave makes such a massive difference after this step.

This brush is awesome. It is gentle and lathers very well. It is synthetic hair and feels very natural. I love the grip of it as doesn't slip when my hands are wet (even when I used pre-shave oil which will make your hand very slippery)

this is a really important tool to get if you are in shaving. it just lathers the shaving cream sooo much you end up using just a little amount of. it helps a lot with making the product last for u and providing you with enough lather to shave with safely .

Shaving Pure Black Shaving Brush is super. I remember that my dad's time they ware using it for creating foam. When I used this brush the foam was quick with cream. The brush is soft and designed good. A true gentlemen's tool.

Using a quality shaving brush definitely makes a difference, not only it produces a great lather but you can use a fraction of shaving cream opposed to can shaving cream to shave whole face.

I was very impressed with how quickly this distributed The shaving cream and noticeable was how durable this was. I used it about three times and was very happy with the results. Cleanup was quick and simple.

I think it's just as easy to put on with your hand but i guess this is fine and some people prefer that.  I probably wouldn't buy this personally but i'll use it as necessary until it falls apart.
