Looks great and smells great

I've never bought a lipgloss for the good smell, but this one has one and it's definitely a plus. The colors are beautiful and matte without feeling or looking dried out. And once it's dry, it does not transfer. All around, it's a fantastic liquid lipstick.

Not Matte

After application I noticed this lipstick was more of a gloss than matte. I prefer matte so I was not a fan. It does feel creamy when applying but either the name needs to change or the formula because it’s not Matte no matter how long you wait.

Quality Varies

The formulation for these definitely seems to give an entirely different texture for each color. Some of these are actually beautiful, not too matte, more of a blurry cloudy effect. Milky could be a perfect word but again, you need to visualize that in the terms of the shades. Again though, I must emphasize that some shades are wildly different when it comes to the quality. The gems in this line are just that, gems! Hard to find, possibly worth the search if you truly love the shade you've sought out. Others though, insanely drying, smears, transfers, fades quickly. imo - not a product that's worth the effort of searching for the gems.

Choose your color carefully

I bought two colors in the Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor: Romance and Infatuation. Infatuation is a lovely deep burgundy shade, but applies streaky, however, you can build up the color. Romance is a lovely dark red shade and the color saturation is very good without applying streaky. Make sure you choose the right color. You might see the lip dry out as well. Another con is that the lipcolor doesn't actually dry matte so I can see why this was discontinued. Mind you, the color does stay on your lips, but you will find yourself re-applying. The lipcolor is very moisturizing and when it's time to take it off it comes off easily without leaving a stain on your lips.

some are perfect others are ho

I have a bunch of shades and each one is a different formula. Some are super dry; some are perfect an i have another one that doesn't even wear like a matte lip stick. I like the shade range as they have a lot of different colors and tones to suite everyone. it's just a couple are so drying i threw them away. I have one that I really liked, and the formula was perfect, but the shade wasn't even close to what was advertised. I do like theses i would suggest testing them out at ulta maybe before purchasing....

More like a gloss than matte

Not transfer proof at all. It was very sticky. It seemed to never dry down. Maybelline matte super stay is a way better alternative.

Amazing Lip product!

First the formula is absolutely on point! it goes on soft and silky and absolutely smooth! It is very pigmented and beautiful, i’ve tried various shades as well and love them all! The best part this lip product is absolutely affordable!

Like it!!!

I had gotten this lipstick as a gift set. I like the light weight and it does not dry out my lips at all. It lasts until I eat anything oily. I love that it comes in many shades.

Doesn't dry down

The color is very rich and pigmented but I definitely don't like that the lipstick doesn't dry down like other liquid matte lipsticks do. Too easy to smudge

One of my favorite matte lipsticks

Love love looove this brand and lipstick in particular. It's close to Jeffreestars lipsticks in formula. It lasts all day feels good on the lips and has many variety of colors. Inexpensive and easy to find. One of my favorite purchases at a store.

Amazing matte lip mousse!

I have been obsessed with the Revlon matte lip mousse, for years. It’s just the perfect final touch to your makeup look and the color lasts! I really like this Hyper matte version, in color “Spice”. It is beautiful!

Comes off too easily

I prefer a lip color that really stays put for the day. This will transfer to your teeth even after it is dry. For the price, you're better off getting something else that really gets through 10 hour use. I don't want to use quadruple the product to keep my lip color throughout the day when I can use one application with my long wear.
