I usually buy vitamin C’s that cost hundreds of dollars. I was gifted this product and I was surprised by how well this worked. My skin felt slightly brighter and smoother after using it for 2 weeks. I’m not sure if it will lighten my hyperpigmentation, but only time will tell.

This is a great new product from Cereve. I noticed evening our of my skin tone rather quickly. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the size. It just seems very small to me, but that could be me comparing it. But it's a great product for skin brightening and fading dark spots!

Vitamin C is very important for the skin. This brand and this product are awesome! My skin looks brighter and feels better. I don't love the tube it comes in, but the product itself works great!

I have tried to find a good vitamin c to help with dark spots I have developed over time. I have some dark spots from acne scars or freckles developed from being out in the sun for too long, and not being good about reapplying my sunscreen until very recently. I found this CeraVe Vitamin C to be incredibly helpful for my skin. This has not just helped eliminate any problems I may have developed historically, but also has helped with my skin barrier and maintaining a good glow and less breakouts! My only concern with this specific serum was the container that it comes in. It makes it difficult to get the serum out of the tube and to empty it out, so I feel like I am wasting a little bit (or a lot potentially?) of the product. Other than this setback, I am definitely going to repurchase this vitamin c, especially if they decide to utilize a different product container. I highly recommend this serum!

I generally trust Cerave products. I'm not sure if my skin is brighter, but it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin like other skin treatments have, so for that at least, I will continue to use it.

I am an adult that still gets pimples here and there unfortunately. Using this helped a lot with the brightening my acne scars and helping my skin feel moisturized. Also it doesn't break me out! I always am trying to convert my friends to this product.

I have some hyperpigmentation on my face which has affected my self confidence. I bought this to try out for a week and I initially didn’t see any results... BUT I kept on applying my it to face daily every morning and periodically in the evening. After about two months of using this serum my dad commented on how the acne scars / spots and hyper-pigmentation on my face improved! I was told my face looks a lot brighter and even. My dad didn’t even know I was using the product!

This is pretty good for a drugstore brand-- I used this for a few months and saw some brightening effects on my oily sensitive skin, especially when I used it while my face was still damp (right after washing) and before my moisturizer. My dark spots only lightened a small amount and there was only a slight improvement in my fine lines. The texture is like a serum, very light and absorbs quickly. It's an affordable option with ok results. I would still prefer Kbeauty or more high-end Vit C's. One thing I wish they'd improve is the tube-- it gets really hard to squeeze out the last bits of product near the end, since the tube is kind of a harder, malleable plastic? Feels like there's a lot of product left even after I can't squeeze any more.

After using Cerave Facial Cleanser for years, I decided to give their Vitamin C serum a try. I have been pleasantly surprised. After weeks of use, my face feels smoother and brighter. It has not irritated my face at all. Another win from Cerave!
