If I'm being honest, I was very sceptical using GHDs at first. I have fine hair, natural curls and frizziness all over!! Plus, everytime I have left a salon after having my hair straightened with GHDs, it's frizzed out by the time I get home. I am happy to say, the Chronos worked fantastically, to my surprise. Not only did I stay frizz free that lasted until I washed my hair, I straightened my hair in record time. Using the Chronos has changed my straightening experience. They glide effortlessly and smoothly with every pass over my hair. They sit comfortably in your hand and heat up fast. Not having to worry about the heat setting is a nice added bonus. I have to say, after my previous experience with GHDs not being possitive, I am happy to say - I am COMPLETELY CONVERTED to GHD Chronos!

This is a very much needed upgrade to my current 15yo ghd straightener. Which still does the job but it is now outdated technology. I love the design of the ghd. It’s nice & light weight so your hand doesn’t get sore or tired. It straightens your hair seamlessly and is an excellent straightener. I would highly recommend it as a great gift idea for anyone!

I am truly amazed at the professionalism of this hair straightener! When I read it's claims, I thought they were too good to be true. "One stroke results" - surely not, I thought. "Style stays in place for 24 hours" - impossible, I thought. But I was wrong, and absolutely every single claim that this GHD Chronos makes is 100% true. In just 17 seconds (I've counted) the straightener heats up to 185 degrees and alerts me that it is ready to use with a pleasant chiming sound. The light weight of the straightener and swivel cord make it very easy to, control and use without any damage to my hair and without any burnt fingertips whatsoever. I tries just one stroke and was amazed at the instant results. My hair was straight. I tried flicks, and the worked instantly and curls are just as quick. What then absolutely amazed me was that my hair looked exactly as styled 24 hours later - even on a rainy day! I've never styled my hair quicker or easier. I love it!

I was shocked with the quality of this product. It made me hair straight in one stroke, it can curl nicely as well. I love the silicone cover as well, as it holds the straightener shut for travel. I have a mild wave pattern in my fine hair. Normally I would run into issues like my hair burning and the straightener not ironing out kinks from hair ties. This product didn't even sizzle and had no issues removing kinks in my hair.

I have been using anko brand hair straighner for a while until try this ghd straightner, I was thinking what is difarrence between expensive and cheap straightner. So finally i understood totaly different. There is many great point. Firstable, so quick to be ready to use(about 20sec?). Secondly, light weight so dosen't feel tired my arms. Thirdly, so easy to make perfectly straight my hair. It takes only 5min to do my hair set. I was worry about hair damage because tempreture is 185℃ only ghd strainer. I have never used this high tempreture for anko brand one. When I tried 180℃ styling with anko one, absorutely my hair was dry and looks poor. However ghd dosen't make dry at all and make my hair shiny and smooth. What a result. I'm so supprised about that. Also, ao easy to do hair arrangement because of shape. 100% recommend and I can not use the other brand anymore.

I have naturally curly/frizzy hair and although it’s medium to fine hair, I have a lot of it. I usually brush out my hair wet then blow dry and use an iron to straighten and then either leave straight or curl with a wand. This straighter worked well to straighten out my hair once I got the hang of how many passes and how slow to run my hair through. I found I had to go over my sections hair more than once to straighten it and make ensure the sections of hair were small. The straightener is easy to use and hold and the swivel makes it easy to manoeuvre. The wand is shorter than other straighteners I’ve had. I would have liked a way to lock it closed other than the rubber cap that it comes with which needs to be an extra inch longer to fully cover the plates. This straightener would suit most hair types and would be a good hair staple if you are just looking for a straightener (as the barrel wasn’t the easiest to use to curl).

The GHD Chronos is lightweight and easy to use. One tap of the on button to switch on, and it heats up super quick. It glides over hair, for reference I have long fine hair and living in humid Brisbane it gets frizzy. I used the GHD Chronos on air dried hair, to straighten my hair it took me less than 10 mins, you will see in the photos my hair was wavy before use, after using my hair is straight, shiny and it feels super soft. I also love that the GHD has a sleep mode, where if it hasn't been used for 10 minutes it turns it self off. Which is so good for me, quite often I have to triple check I've turned off my straightener. It also comes slick with heat proof guard, so I can get rid of my bulky heat protector bag. I really loved this new GHD, I'm really happy with the result

The style is very modern and classy. I do like that it comes with a heat glove to use while it is cooling down with children around. This straightener glides through frizzy dry hair with eases and feels comfortable to grip. I did not need to go over the same hair piece twice as it eradicated frizz and made my hair slick, shiny and straight. The results were fantastic and I feel this would satisfy the frizziest hair. It lasted 2 days and only feel I needed to do a quick top up as it would incredibly muggy weather. Overall, very good product. Only downside would be is it isn't cordless.

Firstly, I love how quick it was to be ready to style, about 10 seconds and it was good to go. I firstly straightened my hair, it was super quick and literally a one pass job, but my hair turned to frizz! I tried a second time using different products to help my hair but the result was no different. I tried curling my hair, and found this product really lacking. It took 4-5 runs to achieve the desired result, however the curls were gone within 2 hours. My hair this time was again frizzy beyond belief! Disappointed would be an understatement, my backup $30 straightener does a much better job and lasts the whole day and leaves me with zero frizz. For a product that claims 2x less frizz, I was shocked at what it did to my hair. I will however state that another family member with very curly hair tried it was was happy with the results and had the complete opposite experience to me. It's just obviously not good with fine hair!

This was my first time using a GHD product. And I must say I am impressed by instructions and package of the product. Because it looks simple yet effective and stylish. Product leaves impressive lasting results too.

Stoked to be able to review ghd chronos. Chronos took literally a few secs to start it’s good for busy individuals. GHD glides super well and smoothly, hair is straighten with just one simple glide . It’s really fuss free and quick there’s only one on/off button no temp indicator beeps upon turning on and beeps again when it’s ready to use. I have thin coloured hair my curls lasted till the next day without any products used. Like all other hair styling tools it Can become hot during curling so avoid the plate guard area. Curls lasted till the next day. Could be better if it comes with heat resistance gloves or a heat mat but that being said it does comes with a heat resistant silicon guard to slip on and protect from prying little hands. Also Love the safety feature that turns it off after 10mins. Little details such as a Swivel cord allows ease of usage Definitely my new favourite hair tool to look great without the effgort !

I love this! It’s so smooth and heats up quickly, giving you a little chime as an indication when you turn it on and again when it’s ready. I love that this actually curls really well, and that it simply seems to glide through the hair.

I had the honour of trialling the new GHD Cronos hair straightener. The packaging and box is very sleek and and it screams luxury. It was very easy to set-up. Plug and play and your on your way. I have the original GHD so I'm comparing it to that. Curls are a lot easier once you get the hang of it but I've always used for straightening. In terms of straightening, it did take a few passes to get my hair sleek once prepped. With my original GHD, it was one pass. The humidy doesn't usually affect my hair once straitened however with the Cronos I found my hair frizzed after a few hours. Not sure why. All in all, the Cronos is great hair straightener and I would recommend it.

Very sleek and a joy to use. It was very quick and easy to style my hair. It heats up super quick and has a longer tip so I wasn't worried about burning my fingers when I was curling my hair and grabbing the end of the straightener. Highly recommend for people thicker and longer hair.

Wow, is how I would like to start this review! I have owned a GHD for years and even that one does not compare to this in the slightest. It heated up so quickly and the sounds make it very noticeable that it is ready. Once ready it slides over my frizzy hair with so much ease. Only took me 10 minutes to straighten all my hair from frizzy mess to perfectly straight glossy hair! Normally the next day after sleeping in all different positions my hair has kinks and knots but waking up after straightening it with my new straightener, there was not a kink in sight. Honestly magic, it stayed straight for days. I even twisted it and claw clicked my hair up and needed a 30 second run through to be perfect again. I am very impressed! Took a while to cool down, to be expected as it warms up quickly to a hot temperature.
